Bump on this out of curiosity. I could put a fuse in there and remove one front seat to see if the connector underneath energized. Would be nice to know what the fuse size is as well.

Don't let a kid out smart you.
Last weekend I put the Toytec ultimate lift kit on my 05 AC. It included new coilovers upfront with Eibach springs and a Bilstein 5100 shock, and in the rear it has the Toytec boss shock(2.5") with remote reservoir. I also got the add a leaf but I ended up not installing it(For sale). The process was pretty painless besides getting the coilover bolt in the LCA but I eventually got it in. Im super happy with the results. after everything has settled. I'm at 36 3/4" in the front and 37 1/8" in the rear with out my tent on it. Overall im super happy with the lift. It was ~$1650 for the lot which is 600 less than the icon stage 3 which comes with a rear lift block instead of an add a leaf. 61137110869__6F41455F-CB98-4638-AF24-30E708D9B16E.jpg IMG_42069.jpg 61145624737__6B5F090A-81E0-428C-BDD5-1BCD35856C70.jpg 61154491364__121FA1D0-5455-4457-8D6A-629765CF0DCC.jpg

I replaced the transfer case oil out of my 2000 Tundra Sr5. I did the rear differential this past weekend. Today it went over 348,000 miles. Still running strong

power seats actually would go through the POWER fuse (30A) that unused spot is unused in all 02 and prior trucks ive seen.

Repair manual confirms it was never used, but it appears to be pinned. you can use an Add-A-fuse there if you wanted to add a circuit without ill effect. just test to see if its constant power or accessory power.

Tooled around on the truck this morning. Installed a Used OEM Tow Hook on the drivers side to Balance out my Fung Shu.

Also, prepped for the upcoming Throttle Body cleaning by cutting the wing off another used/obtained Throttle Cover Bracket. Guess that wing was for a sensor, or for the Famed SuperCharger parts? It gets in my way when checking inspection on my PVC Valve, so now my hands can rest easy with it gone.

Awesome info. This is a power option for anyone in the future. I’ll test the empty fuse with a meter soon and report back!

I removed the engine cover, it makes access to the throttle body quick & easy and I think is looks better.

Just to reiterate, you went from 3 mufflers/resonators to one, right?
Something worthy of note here is the supercharger shoves a whole bunch more exhaust into the exhaust. Years ago, I had a car that I supercharged (and changed nothing else) and it made the car nearly twice as loud. When I pulled off the SC and turbo'd that car, it was markedly quieter despite making significantly more power.
TLDR: superchargers make a ton more exhaust noise.
You're going to have to add more muffling capacity to your exhaust to bring down that noise. I reckon if you replaced that 22" muffler with an identical muffler that had twice the OD, you'd drop a bunch of noise and smooth out the rasp.

Exhaust gas pulses have to pass through the turbine impeller in a turbo car, greatly decreasing the volume and changing the tone (for the worse honestly). Makes it sound breathy and airy instead of grumbly and mean. A supercharger increases the amount of air fed to the motor (allowing more fuel to be burned) without molesting the exhaust. That's why Demons and Hellcats sound so badass and Turbo V8 Audis sound like they have exhaust leaks. Old school Chevy carbureted V8's sounded much louder with a Holley 650-750 4 barrel than a stock Quadrajunk.

Cleaned up the Throttle Body and installed the new cut bracket. So much easier to access the PCV Valve now. Painted up the Brass Throttle Cover Nuts with some left over Metallic Wheel Paint to match the scheme.

Also, closed the chapter on the Horns fail due to the delivered Used Horn not working. Cleaned up my originals and painted them flat black again to reduce their site through the Grille.

This is true. On top of that, a lot of the Borg Warner turbos that Audi/VW use have silencers built in to keep the noise down. A lot of guys with turbo VW motors run with straight pipes and aren't very loud (but don't sound great).

That's correct and definitely some good feedback.

I'm going to do a once-over and try to confirm I have no exhaust leaks. Once I nail that down I'll push forward with cleaning up the sound a bit.

Got the truck back up on jack stands for round 2. The axle nut wouldn't budge so I'm letting it soak in Kroil overnight.

Can’t stress enough on everyone getting a 1/2” Impact Wrench. Truck work becomes so easy with it. Before I’d go into Breaker Bar Stress Mode over rusted/seized bolts. Now, its Easyville. Set the Impact to Freestyle Mode and it automatically self-adjusts to how much the fastener may be locked up.

It also has 3 Pre-Arranged Torque Settings all within most ranges for typical 1/2” stuff. Gets you close.

Remind me, did you get the hi torque? I watched a guy online try to but his axle nut with the mid torque and it wouldn't budge. Must have been really stuck.

I bought the Milwaukee 1/2” Impact with Friction Ring. Its High Impact. The self adjusting nut buster technology is pretty cool. You can feel the wrench ‘sensing’ the seize and slowly cracking it without shearing.

Check out the videos on it on you tubes. One guy goes to town in an Industrial Junk yard with rusted trucks and heavy machinery. Extremely satisfying.
