Rear disc may happen this year, we’ll see. Taco gets it first though.

After getting steering wheel controls going after new HU install with an ASWC-1, found out if I can find the right side phone button assembly, I can add to project. All that to say, thru searches it appears the existing left side buttons should lite up. Anyone ever replaced the what are supposed to be LEDs on the below switch board ?

All back together again. No left over screws like IKEA furniture. This was a fight to go back. That's probably the hardest job I think I've done so far THIS weekend.

It's lit fam. I look forward to tonight. Time for a quick vacuum, and then the carpet gets a vacuum. Then install.

Not on those but I've removed similar. It's doable but you need a good soldering iron. Every time I've done it's been in an electrical lab on campus.

:confused:Okay, I'm a little embarrassed to say, but I can't remember the proper orientation of the rear seat belt receivers. I would appreciate just a rough idea photo. A picture of the back seat should suffice. Thanks

Okay, since I took a little break to put some food in my belly I'll just model it after the front seat. Lap belt mounts on the drivers side, and receives on the passenger.

    Good enough.

Right but ICON explicitly states you should remove the overload spring, and that you'll still get 1.5" lift. That's B.S for the majority of people. You only got 1.2" WITH the overload. Had I known, I would have ignored their instructions and left it in.

1.2” with a cap. I’d guess closer to 2” with the cap off. Another thing to remember is they assume new leaf springs or newer, with the age of our trucks the leafs are beginning to sag. I was ready to have these rearched if it wasn’t high enough. I could see when I Was putting the new stuff in how much flatter the original leafs were compared to the AAL.

Attacked the muff today after finishing off a Fleet Car Repair.

The muff was on her way out boys. Glad its replaced and whoever recco’d replacing the clamp/bolt, and gasket with new OEM ones gets credit as the old were unusable. Pretty straight forward job that took about an hour. Sounds just like the day it drove off the lot. The old one wasn’t loud at all, but this new one is very quiet. Stoked!

My radiator sprung a leak yesterday, crack across the top which is a pretty common failure point. The dealership has two listed on their website, one of $159 and one for $357. Anybody know what the difference is?

Go to ToyotaPartsDeal.com and plug in your vin# then come back and cross check the part number with your stealer site. I believe the difference is brackets included and if the rad has transmission cooler ports. Irregardless, your vin will let you know.

Can't help with that but it's a good time to flush the whole system. 2 drain plugs on the bottom of engine block!

Thinking about upgrading my bilstein 5100s. Whats the next best upgrade? I see OME on Toytec for about half of Icon and King. Theres also the next level Bilstein 6200 or something? Just wondering what a good budget yet next upgrade from 5100s for extra lift for bigger tires and decent on and offroad ability would be. Thanks guys! By the way, im looking for around 2 to 2.5 inches of lift.

Im also thinking of getting some 255 85 r16 tires for this new setup. Should these 33" clear 2 or so inches of lift?

Also looking at a new deaver leaf pack. Is that a good choice? I have an AAL that id probably take off my current setup and add to the new deaver leaf pack. That should get me around 2 inches of lift?

What are yall's "thinkings" on this?
Just dirt? I know the cig light is super clean. I made sure of that. I used the same bulb I had used for everything else. Cool white 4000k, 17 lumens. (I'm not 100% of the 4000k off the top of my thinker.)

Does it throw off the clean look of everything?

The bulbs probably too tall and touching the plastic on the lighter housing. And with age the plastic has turned yellow.

Very well could be. My pops used to smoke in this truck. Hell, I did too. I forgot about that for a minute. Definitely could be a factor too. That's another reason I did a full deep clean like I did.

My shift l button has a yellow glow because of the plastic colour and the way the light bounces off it. I’m going to try some reflective tape on the plastic to hopefully get white like the rest
