You should try the SeaFoam engine spray through the throttle body. Believe its the SS-14 can with the special straw.

A win-win for you and your truck when you retreat to the garage!

Thanks for this. On your pads it doesn’t seem to even have a chamfer from what I can see.

And per those Toy Shims I purchased them at the Stealer. They seem like quality.

I installed a set of '05 tails on my 2002, they have a much better reflector & lens than what came on the '02. the bulbs are arranged in a different order, but it's still plug-n-play.

FWIW, I put the lenses from an '02 Tacoma fleetside bed onto an '03 stepside bed. Was told they wouldn't fit, but they fit fine & don't leak. Toyota is generally very good at making 1 part fit many models/years.

Looking great! It's amazing how clean some of these 20 year old trucks are! And I'm jealous of your weather. We had a snowstorm blow in last night.

Appreciate that brotha, yeah they definitely hold up great! Doesn’t leak or burn a drop of oil and that 2017 Silverado you can see behind is already leaking oil in my damn driveway.

and if it helps they are calling for 23 degrees tomorrow night and snow Tuesday :(

Have you had that long? Seems like I maybe saw your username on some older threads when I was searching for random Tundra stuff.

Anybody else want bigger mirrors? I'm trying to find a good set to try and swap. So far I have only found the dodge mirror swap and I'm not sure I want them to stick that far. They are big even when folded in.
Ideally I'd find bigger mirrors with power fold and readily available in the yards. Yeah I'm asking a lot.

I like the step side. Saw one not too long ago at a stop light and appreciated it. Good work!

This one since late November... it is my 4th stepside.... buy them and rebuild/restore and pass them along to family members (nephew and son) or the children of my friends... Have done a few 4Runners too.... (4Runners are great first cars/trucks!!!) Looking for the rare Tundra unicorn for myself... low miles, original owner, clean frame Access cab with Stepside, Limited, in red, blue or green... year and interior color don't matter... but I do want leather. Can modify and improve as I like...

Been waiting almost 3 weeks for my girl back because the shop that did them, messed up and they still leaked. Brought it back to the same shop for replacement, let me just say if I wasnt worried about another payment, I wouldve brought it else where!!!! Went to help him bleed the brakes today and drive her home....well now the master cylinder started leaking bad...of course! Just my luck. Hopefully get it back by mid week. plus another bill because this wasnt connected to their bearing work...auto repairs and college dont mix well‍♂️

What year did tundras get the 231mm calipers? and are the 231mm calipers stamped with a 13WL because that is what mine says.

I know how to do most of this stuff, but it is winter here and I don't have the proper tools/time/and space to work on it myself! I would be happier doing it all myself. Sadly my college does not have any of those shop classes, otherwise I would totally pay for that

I use a vacuum bleeder, but I've seen people recommend to put a 2x4 block under the pedal if you use the pedal to bleed the brakes because it keeps the seals from going beyond the normal swept area.

    All,

how hard is it to change my Bilstein 5100’s from the lowest position to the 2nd position after everything has been installed? Can I just disconnect the bottom and turn it to position 2, or do I have to take the top three bolts as well? I hope I don’t need to compress the springs for this job.

Also, is there a list that tells me how much lift I get on positions 2 and 3?

    Thanks!

Oh, and drove the truck today for a while to a hiking spot (69 degrees in Colorado today!) so now I’m ready to take off the wheels and check the spacers. Also, bought a Hi Jack and bed mounts!
