I missed the muffler talk last week, but have a question. My truck doesn't have the factory resonator, it's just a welded pipe until the muffler. It's a cheap master muffler installed by the PO and it's ridiculously loud on the freeway, I drove to Moab over Christmas and I could still hear the stupid thing at 80 miles an a hour with my doors whistling, the wind blowing sideways and my kids fighting. Funds are tight right now so I'm looking for a relatively inexpensive option. If I either add a resonator or replace the muffler will that make a difference?

I added a Hellwig rear sway bar

    Hellwig helper spring

And on a whim I bought trim restorer, it actually worked really well, no before pic but it definitely looks better.

My leaf springs are shot, but I've got some other things to pay for before I can replace the leaf springs. The rear sway bar and the helper spring made a big difference in body roll while cornering.

It might help if you had a resonator but check that your muffler doesn't have a hole in it. Mine rusted out on top and I couldn't tell until I dropped it. No wonder it was so loud for stock exhaust haha!

I have no resonator with a stock muffler and it definitely isnt loud so the muffler is probably your problem. Id get just a cheap replacement muffler similar to stock and it should help alot, like this one. Should bolt right up and you could do it at home.

Does anybody think there's any market for used factory seat covers off a vehicle? Just for example let's say a 2006 double cab with cloth interior in pretty good shape with only a small tear starting on the driver's side seat bottom.
Asking for a friend that was thinking about eBay if there's any chance something like that can sell.

Possibly someone doing a restoration? I bought an entire seats interior for our 4runner, after the kids grow up and are done making a mess, they will be reupholstered with fresh 2014 non smoker interior

did you get it off toyotas website or ebay? Im looking for one of those or a T-3 tundra grille but I dont have much hope about that one.

Also looking for a limited bumper in black, the one without the chrome molding on the front, if anyone knows of one.

OEM? What do you mean exactly? I love the grill but didn't realize it was one ever offered by Toyota. What did it come on?

Poor lil 16”:( I will probably take a sawzall to the tire and get the tpms out, and maybe make a stand out of the wheel, my cousin would use 21 or 20” bus rims to make bitchen stands with; like anvil stands, grinder stands, whatever. My lil one car garage could use some stands to mount stuff to, then pull it off to store/mount whatever’s next

Gonna guess it's a Darrell Waltrip edition, they came in that color for double cabs.

Ya my buddies Darrell Waltrip is in that color with the grille. It only came in silver and blue so unless you have that color tundra and get one, you would have to repaint it too match.

Its possible, Im waiting to see if OP got it from toyota or not. I might grab my friends DW tundra Vin and see if I can find it online. Would be awesome if there was a stock pile of them somewhere but my hopes aren't high.

Yes sir! The Darrell, Yamaha and the T-3 tundra grilles are unlike the normal one but are rare Id say.

it’s a DW edition grille, and ymmv getting a dealer to source it and sell it to you, however there are only 2 left in all of Toyota’s distribution channels and both are silver, no blue remain. There were 3 until last week when I bought this one. Not cheap, at all. But worth it to me.

they did an AC yamaha edition, similar grille style to this one. No idea the part number though, might be worth digging into...
