Nice light this time of year. Here are the new tires. I like how they took off the weights that used to be on the outside of the rim. Not sure where they are now? Nice clean look. Probably the best this truck will look until its demise whenever that is.

They probably put the sticky type weights on the inside of the wheel

Fabbed up a transmission filler tube device for the other car and it works great on the Tundra!

Plastic bottle cut and taped with electrical tape to 1/2” PEX. Have a similiar set up long version for the front differential.

Spare tire crank looking through the ‘hole’ just above the license plate. The tire store is buying a new key due to them misplacing the one last time. Thankfully, never have to replace a spare in 17 years. Just used the tire plugs/glue with pump.

@Rheywood456 what coilovers are you running? Looked like maybe Fox but couldn't tell. 700 should be good with your bumper.

Wonder if your leafs are as flexy as mine, my truck looks tipped when I park on an incline too.

I’m running ICONs with the 650lb Springs currently.

The 700lb Springs are $120 each

Did you buy or build that sub box yourself? I'd like to see more pics of it outside of the storage compartment

I'm very very interested in seeing how you make this work. I have a 12ft jon boat I put on roof racks but it can be a hassle to load by myself. Commercial boat loaders are $3000+ and ruin the lines of the truck. I'd way rather spend the money on a winch and dual purpose it for recovery and boat loading.

Adjusted that rear brake bias lever mechanism. Thing was ALL the way at lowest setting (which means full front brakes only?).

Moved the two nuts up (thats what she said) about 3/4” and wow! The rear brakes are biting in. Guess its working because I can hear them squeal on hard stops where they never did before. Regular stops no squeal. Stopping on all 4’s. Hunkering down.

Always wondered what that lever thing was. Also, always wondered why my brakes worked better when hauling. Also, wondered why never had to change the rear shoes for 10 years! It all make sense now.

How ironic. After putting the Deavers (and increasing my height in the rear about 2” or so) in the 20 miles that I’ve driven, I have felt a lack of braking compared to before the Deavers.

Where is the brake lever adjuster you speak of? Any pics?

This staff guy posted the pics and info the other day and I can’t find it. Its too dark now, but cantake pics tomorrow. The lever is located on top of the rear axle. If you bend down at the rear of your bumper its located to the right of the rear diff gear ball high on the axle. Their are two nuts top and bottom. Loosen to adjust. Then tighten sandwich style.

Mine was bottomed out since 2002? It took me 2 minutes to make the adjustment. Move it up 3/4”. Have another 1” to 1 and a quarter to go upwards in adjustment for MORE rear braking.

How does one do this? I’ve given up on the parking brake adjustments. Even the mechanics can’t get it proper. Seems like a bad design.
