Good points. On all of my exteriors I’ve used the Zevos or LL Sylvanias, as well (except for the headlight/lamps). Zevos have a lifetime warranty and Autozoned is right up the skreet. I’ve only used the el cheapo made in Chinas due to that size bulb is not available off shelf. The Autozoned guy actually recco’d the Partshams.

The entire harness, I doubt, a sub-harness for that system that plugs into the main harness, probably. What I would do, since you already have that piece, is to look at the parts fiche for the Sequoia, identify if there is a sub-harness (or that there isn't and then you are done, cause it's not worth it replacing the whole harness). If there is, then you would need to open up your dash and see if the Tundra main harness has the unconnected sub-harness connection tucked up in there. If so, then it may be as simple as just getting that sub-harness (this is assuming electronic control for the unit is all self-contained in that piece you have and that the sub-harness is mostly for power. If it requires a Sequoia main ECM, well, then it's again, a non-starter). It's not that much work to find out at this point since you already have the dash piece. Heh, if you make this work there will be a run on that dash piece and sub-harness at junk yards...:)

Is there a trick to pulling the climate control cover off?

They don't, no salt is used so it's just rain water. After my T-100 rusted out, I bought another one from Oregon and it had zero rust. It was really nice after coming from the east coast rotted truck.

In my opinion, you're taking a big risk in buying 1 without seeing the frame in person. I think you mentioned before you were wanting to buy one online and have it shipped to you.. Or am I wrong?

I never could find the 3rd breather. I know @Professional Hand Model hand model said it was near the firewall. I only found the 2 that are mounted on the frame near the driver side front tire.

those 2 are the breathers for the Diff and the actuator on the diff tube. The trans and transfercase are ontop of the transmission

Would I be able to access them from under the truck? The other 2 were pretty nasty so I'd like to clean them out.

I said I could not a big deal. I've done it before and either shipped them or flew out and drove them home. Would rather find one around here but if I can't find something I'm looking for not afraid to look outside the state

I'm procuring the parts for this job today. Is it really necessary to get the expensive Toyota FIPG? I have a tube of Permatex sitting on the shelf. I know I'm going to use only use 10% of the Toyota tube if I buy it.

Your call. I happily paid it knowing thats what the Toy ‘pros’ use. The counter people helped me out nicely with a few things so it was worth it for me. Just think of your labor savings!

Permatex works fine. but the FIPG tends to last longer. hell i trust that shit so much i used it on my mothers ford flex when i did the water pump and had to reseal the timing cover

The third is between firewall and back of manifold. You can feel it before seeing it unless you have that Tom Cruise Levitation Device.

Its hiding in plain sight once you know where to go. Its the plastic type breather on a long rubber hose on mine and should be in good shape where it is located not getting weathered. You should be good. Give it a swirl.

Can anyone help me with the wiring of a backup camera. I've checked Mitchell and I don't think I'm getting the right harness diagram . I just need a visual on the wire I need to tap into for the parking switch I've got power . Ground and I'm pretty sure everything is correct

The other hidden breather is almost impossible to get to located on top of the transmission. A gorilla arm can touch it maybe, but getting a tool on it?

if you take the transmission cross member out and move the trans with a jack down, you can get your hand up there

Push two vents pointed up to access a screw in each. Remove three control knobs and there are screws behind them. Pinch assy and pull. It will come out. Going on mammaries here so I may have forgotten something.

im going to try and make a nice breather setup for all the breathers.. thinking about running a metal line like the EVAP lines and have the rubber lines connect to it as a maifold as it goes to the front of the truck then into the ARB breather.
