Allegedly, yes. I replaced mine with trans fluid, I remember it being kinda yellow when I bought the truck ten years ago.

Ok... Here's the update. Finally got around to getting my tint looked at by some professionals. They told me first that the tint I had on my truck was not factory tint but in fact a very cheap tint with cheap glue which is why it wrinkled up once I got the weathertech window protectors. They guaranteed me that theirs would not start coming off. Anyhow I got it fixed and so far they haven't given me one problem. I cleaned out the inner window seals the best I could with wd-40 and a shim. Both of them are still tight fits with the protector with the driver side being real tight. Glad to have my windows back and keep the protectors.

Good on ya buddy. My tint has been holding up nicely as well with the Weathertech Protectors. You get what you pay for. I kick myself for not doing both sooner. Nice not having the rain or window washer fluid landing on your knee when opening windows.

Turkey baste flushed the Power Steering Fluid again. Also, did the brake fluid even though it was relatively fresh. Worked out the limited slip problem in rear diff (hopefully) with Lucas 80w-90 Heavy Duty Gear Oil (mineral based).

Well I've had her less than a month and the dang maintenance light came on. Guess I'll be changing the oil this weekend.

Going to swing into the shop after work and see about straightening my steering wheel. Since the alignment on Monday its been off by a few degrees. I figured it was to compensate for the crown of the roads but after driving all week on various roads it's too far out.

May be a touch of OCD but I need my steering wheel within a degree or two of dead level.

Thinking about removing the huge flares/mud flaps on my limited 06. They make my tires look tiny. Will there be holes in the fenders? Is it just a few bolts?
What about the part on the front bumper?

There will be holes in the fenders, i removed mine and still havent filled the holes, but the truck looks badass now. Also they are clips, i popped mine off just by tugging on the flare, and pulling away on each part as you go along. I removed my mud flaps the same night, and the mud flaps are actually a couple bolts , 10mm i think. My tire size is 265/75 16 , here are some pics 35A2E3BD-7FDF-48CD-A75D-6842F28512FE.jpg

And as far as the front bumper, mine currently has it still only because my whole front bumper is off since mine is custom. But I believe its the same way to remove it

So. With my bills set on the 5th groove.
Took the truck for an alignment today.
He said it wasn't to bad and there was plenty of room for adjustment.

Since the spring I've been busy.

Rancho 9000s quickies up front with Rancho 9000s in the rear.

New rear heavy duty leafs with Helwig AALs in the back.

Got a slide out best drawer for a 6ft bed off of CL for $40. Had to shave 2in off the very back but I now have a sliding table with a 800lbs capacity

Wired up some SuperBrightLEDs in the back of the truck for cargo area light under the camper top. They rotate through a bunch of colors.... wasn't the best kit for the job but I now have light. Also wired a 12v outlet and fuse block into the bed. Engel/ARB fridge here I come.

Found out the other day that advance auto sells lockers on line for tundras. Name brand stuff.... get one of those 25% coupons they always seem to offer gents and you can grab your own Christmas present.

Something I've waited a long time for and the first gen community should be happy about. Plug and play speedometer/odometer correction.

    Done!

Long story short, this kit costs $110 and is as simple as can be to install. Great company to buy from, add a comment that you want 2.25 meters of harness if you order. I got 2 meters and think I went a bit short.

NOBODY ELSE OFFERS THIS FOR OUR TRUCKS!
