    In due time.

Sadly it’s going back to the body shop on Friday. We found one slight issue so he’s going to sort it out for me. Then I’ll throw them on

The driver door just barely rubs the rocker, so he’s going to straighten that out and repaint the spot, can’t hear it or feel it happen . Just after being in and out of the truck a lot today I noticed the run marks.

    I'm almost an overlander

    1026191412_HDR.jpg

On a more serious note, I don't like what I'm seeing with my coolant.

The little green line is where it used to be when cold. Is this normal to fluctuate?

Not good. Keep an eye on it. Might be like the winter shrinkage. The same size yet they contract from cold.

You need Jerry cans and shovels and little grippy plastic thingys that cost alot of money in bright colors on the side of your truck to be a true ‘Overlander’.

Paint job looks like butt like the first side doink repair attempt went last year. The second go around, back in the spring, made the side doink better. Something about the base coat is not shiny even though its ‘high gloss’.

Todays tailgate looks splotchy (probs due to primer) and I’ll wait a few weeks and spray it again like I did the side doink second go around in hopes of improvement.

This metallic paint looks different depending on the angle of the dangle. Some angles the repair looks ‘not noticeable’ but not perfect. Overall, I’m ok with it. The dents and scratches look better.

Maybe I’ll spray the whole truck to match the muted look! Or not and stick with hand modeling.

No idea how some guys say this brake booster job can be done without disconnecting the master cylinder lines. Got the master cylinder disconnected, fought with the lead to the ABS module, got it out of the way and master cylinder out. Inspected it and found a slow but definite seepage on the rear. Guess I'm ordering a new one and continuing this later.
    20191026_133753.jpg

Wrestled the lines to the ABS again and got the old booster out. Fair to say its damaged, I can see the rubber around the output end is shredded, probably how my master cylinder got damaged. Now gonna call Napa to see of they have a cylinder on hand so I can continue or order one up and get ay it next week.
