No, what people are replacing is the rubber line. Yes, you can just get a new section of brake line at the local parts store for about $5. But you have to bend it yourself, which is not hard. I had to replace mine last winter when I tire chain broke and ripped it off. You will also have to bleed that brake line.

No we're replacing the circled part. Take the old part into the auto parts store so they can match the diameter. I believe it's 3/16". @Aerindel already nailed it. I just went through this last weekend because I though I ruined the metal line.

Thanks. Appreciate the quick responses. I’ll work on figuring out how to shape some brake lines.

well, got the first snow of the season here. It didn't stick so I didn't get a chance for a pic.

Also, I ordered parts to completely rebuild my rear brakes and parking brake mechanism.

For the size of brakeline on our trucks you can get away with a pair of pliers if your careful. You just about have to as brake line bender tools usually won't do as small of radius as you need.

Look for panel mount USB extensions. I used a round one in the cigarette lighter.

The world just wants you to use Bluetooth. I used one of these https://www.amazon.com/AUKEY-Bluetooth-Receiver-Wireless-Hands-Free/dp/B00O8FYUJA
With one of these hardwired to a switched hot wire to keep it charged. https://www.amazon.com/HOMREE-Step-Down-Converter-Module-Adapter/dp/B07222YDG7
    Just a thought.

I was super confused what you were looking/asking for at first. I think it’s going to be a very tall order to find a music/data USB chingaso that fits in our stock switch blanks. I found toyota specific data ports(made for Camry and tacos, but maybe you can trim a hole out on your sequoia console to make it look nice)

Filled my washer fluid resevoir with my winter fluid, the stuff that doesn't freeze until -45 Celsius. My summer stuff whch is good down to 0C has frozen every morning this last week.

I also poked around my battery a bit. I need to replace it this fall before things get really cold, debating between Northstar and Odyssey AGM batteries. It'll probably come down to price and local availability since I think they're both pretty close in quality. I'm going to need to replace my connectors as well, and I want to get those ones that have multiple connection points. Gotta figure out where to find those in Canada.

I then located where I believe my front tow hooks are supposed to be, 2 bolts on the frame on either side of my skid plate. I really have to track down some tow hooks as well, now that I'm starting to explore deeper into the backcountry by myself. I'm kind of debating whether or not I should install a receiver hitch up front and save up for a hitch mounted winch. Right now, all I have is a come-along winch, which will work in a pinch but isn't ideal. The reciever would be a relatively easy install. Two biggest concerns are: screwing up my approach angle/clearance and it looking stupid (i'm vain that way lol). The pure utility of it would probably negate both concerns.

Last thing I did was dig out my last oil filter and added a Fumoto F103N valve to my shopping list. I'll also need to pick up a tap with the same thread pitch as the Fumoto valve. For my last oil change, I had ordered one but it would only screw in 2 threads before binding up. Either my oil pan's threads are buggered or the Fumoto was. Ended up returning the Fumoto. I'll test the new Fumoto valve I buy and if it still doesn't work, I'll chase the threads on the oil pan with the tap which should get it all working.

Keep an eye on the group buy section. They do NorthStar group buys. Maybe they will ship to Canada

Do you chaps have costos up there?
I’m not one to “cheat” the system, ok, whatever maybe I am. Anyways, all the dudes at work sware by Costco’s warranty, no guff, no real testing of the “dead” battery
I ended up getting the x2 which is rebranded nortstar I think, from batteries plus, 5 year warranty for the group 31(that bad boy is heavy!!!!)

I was able to access the cigarette lighter through the ash tray. I removed the lighter assembly and installed the USB extension. For mine, the top is Android Auto for my phone and the bottom is for my iPod Nano.

Got a replacement piece of brake line for the front driver side caliper and bent it into shape mostly by hand. Got everything hooked up and the new brake line seems to be holding tight with no leaks. I bled the brakes and everything looked good.

While cleaning up I noticed a drop of fluid on the pavement under the caliper that was not there right after bleeding the brakes and all the other work. I had a leak somewhere. So I started with the brake line, but that still looked good. But then I found a large drop hanging off the bottom of the caliper right above the drip spot. No track of fluid leading to it, it seems to be coming out right near the bottom bolt on the caliper. I check the passenger side which I finished yesterday and the same thing, brake fluid leaking out the bottom of the caliper. Has anyone had this problem? I’m calling RockAuto in the morning. So far I am not impressed with these power stop calipers.

Was the bolt tight? I double checked mine on my new calipers and put viz torque tamper paint on them just so I could visually inspect them.

I did crank on it to see if that was the problem but it didn’t get any tighter.
