60s is low?!?!? I’d kill for 60 for a high. It’s was 29 yesterday morning and only gonna stay that cold for the rest of winter I assume. Luckily I ditched out and ran away to AZ and Albuquerque for 2 weeks!

My tiny wingman and I went for a parts run and picked up some longer brake lines and some paint. Ordering steel it today for the suspension parts. Stiffer coils are on order and I have some trans fluid so I can drain some and fill some. Aaannnd my quarterly bonus is gone. Well it will be by the time I order new headlight and marker housings and lower ball joints. Maybe I'll have enough for a nice $20-30 bourbon haha.

Filled it up. Got 275.5 miles in one tank for a whopping 11.6 mpg.

If your tires are oversize from stock you got better mileage than you think. If you're stock you must have one heavy foot or towed a tank!

This is my last couple months of full ups. The beginning of August I switched from 34x10.5’s to 295/70’s. Last couple fill ups have been bad but mostly around town besides my 11 mile commute. Pumped to be getting a old 2wd 4cyl tacoma from my FIL next week. Keep the miles off the tundra and save on gas.

I was thinking the same thing. With my 295/75/16's I averaged 18.2 to and from Goblin Valley a couple of weekends ago.

EDIT: I was also going 80 most of the way.

I'm 100% bone stock and this is about 70% highway. Im an aggressive driver, but not overly aggressive. I think I'm missing something maintenance wise.

Oh, and a toot n totum is like Kum n go or QT everywhere else, but only in Amarillo. We call em fart and fetchem.

Brutal. I got 325 miles to my last tank. 14.5mpg with a mix of city and highway driving.

Have any bad 02 sensors? I've heard that can impact MPG somehow.

Get yourself an Ultra Gauge and set it up correctly. It'll keep you from driving like that, at least it did for me. Instantaneous and AVG MPG changed my driving habits.

And we turned it into another them mileage thread!!!

Quick let's get onto something else haha. Anybody know how the chrome mirror caps come off? I already am painting my fenders so I should be looking at whatever else should be done. So far I've only thought of mirror caps. The grill doesn't really bother me.

Heres a super sick video from about an hour and a half ago when my weedeater sent a rock through my plate glass front door. The reason you can hear my wife so well is because there’s no glass left.

You know I'm going to ask how that comes off. Do share. I can build suspension and design assemblies in solidworks but I suck and taking trim and panels apart.

The glass pulls out by hand. Just have to be kinda gentle so you don’t crack the mirror. If i remember right I pull from the bottom of the mirror

Been using it for years and it’s nice to have just to look back on things. Also input my maintenance logs into for quick reference for next services. I use the free version.

I feel like it is taking them a very long time to paint that truck. Does it normally take that long?

The bed and what not has been painted for a week. They’re doing this on the side with no real time constraints. Insurance jobs come first. That was the deal. They’re preping the bed for bedliner today. Monday is the planed day to do it, then it’s finish reassembly

paramount grill with a big toyota on the front? or just go oem?

What do you mean by paramount?
But yeah the TOYOTA emblem is
    always a nice touch.
