Those look nice. I've thought above removing my bench seat and getting a bucket seat with real console instead.

Do the regular cabs have any storage space behind the seats? I've never sat in one.

Are you saying they are going to fix a 17 year old shell under warranty? That's impressive! Did you buy an extended warranty or is that normal for LEER?

Depending on the brand, it should. My ARE V series was from a 2006 DC and fits my 2002. There is a gap in the front that's only visible from the inside. The downside is that it leaks. If that's a concern then I wouldn't recommend it.

LEER has a limited lifetime warranty, and I am the original owner with a receipt. The nice lady at my local service center where I filed the claim told me the warranty should apply, but we are waiting on final approval from the factory.

Really tempted to offer this guy $1,500 and try to flip it. The ad says it "might" need a ball joint

If that’s all it really needs and looks clean besides that, that would be a good deal. I’d take advantage of his “Or best Offer”

So...I noticed yesterday that some jackass must have backed into me in a parking lot. My rear bumper has a crease in it. :( It's only super noticeable if you know it's there but it's not small. Friggen pisses me off. Now I too am starting to look at armor.

I was thinking the same as @FirstGenVol how awesome the warranty ‘might’ be.

Limited Lifetime can mean different things, but you’ve read the fine print.

I believe all the 2000-06 Access Cabs are the same. The difference comes in the Double Cabs where the height on the bed is taller. And maybe a slight difference in length she says.

There is a ton of fine print, more than what is pictured ... I should be good to go because the structure is failing.

I honestly don't know. One of us clearly did it but I don't how. I don't really see how the tone ring could get damaged either. Since they pulled the slindle it seems more likely that they damaged it, not me. I mentioned it before but the kid also forgot to grease the ball joints. Who knows what else they did/didn't do.

I replaced my tailgate handle today as the old one was feeling sketchy. After I got the old one out and sprayed it down with silicone lube it feels fine. May offer it up for free in the classifieds.

No broken tabs. Going to throw some sound deadener and wrap the harness in Tessa tape to kill possible noise

Got the Rancho Quick Lift and 9000xl shifts installed. Also put a 1inch block in the rear for now. It was a pain to install due to two rusted bolts. So had to cut the rear shock in half and cut the bolt down to get it off. The passenger sway bar link is also jacked up and probably need a new link. Either way she’s done for now! Also need some new rear bump stops as one fell apart putting the block in. Thinking about the wheelers rears if anyone has input.

Good call. Without doing what you did, I did some butyl rubber deadening when both the instrument and climate clusters were out. You can reach your arms in those spaces and stick the deadener in there. Same with dropping the glove box where one can install deadener, as well.

Good time to clean the duct work with everything open like you have.

That’s the plan. PO was a smoker. Time to fix the smell. It’s getting carpet too now. Dash is losing its color so I might try my hand at painting it. Half tempted to paint it black and if that comes out good, do the entire interior in black with some accents (grey headliner and stuff)

Confirmed the wires are present for the factory tvip system. Trying to instal the box now and when I get door locks I’ll be able to tell if that works 100%

To test it. Also still haven’t found some door lock actuators... so that’s still not worming

They "helpfully" moved it back by the fuel tank in later models. I've had a check engine light for the purge valve for a year now because I don't want to crawl under it to remove it.

To answer your question though, my blooper is on the fender well near the battery. It appears to have had a clip at one point but that is gone.
