I’m reading you were too tight (kidding) to buy the OEM duma floppy device sensor thingy after buying the el cheapo version?

And you traced back your wires? Maybe it got pulled/damaged someone suggested?

Just a vacuum / wash, but it always feels nice.

Thinking about ordering fender flares, I think it'll make the truck look more modern and contribute to the stormtrooper look.

I'd love an affordable plate bumper, but they are to expensive at the moment. I just ordered this one the other day because I am tired of looking at the huge dent in mine.

Im liking all this talk and the suggestions about bumpers as Im thinking about getting a rear bumper soon. I really like the coastal offroad rear with a swingout. Im actually going to a local fabricator tomorrow to talk about some ideas and prices. Otherwise I might possibly order the coastal and have him weld it up for me instead. Anyone know how much the stock rear bumper and tow hitch weigh?

Wondering the same thing. I think it is the CV bushing in the clamshell housing, possibly causing vibe/noise?

Damnit, I meant to post about this. I added SWC to my truck when I first got it. The controls plug into the clock spring and you only need 3 wires to run from column side up to the radio. Let me see if I can find a pic of what to use radio harness side.

I know these are the 3 pins used on the back of the radio. If I remember correctly, I found some instructions online for the ASWC aftermarket module and kind of reverse engineered it. I know, not much help but it’s late Friday and I’ve had a few.

I know what I have to add. Luckily the radio harness is a short harness that plugs into the dash harness, the dash harness has the wires for the controls. So add 3 wires and the connector and she’ll work.

My power window issue seems more of a bitch to figure out

This was the 3rd sensor. Original OEM, OEM off EBay, and Amazon aftermarket. The behavior is the same on all 3. I'm guessing it's the tone ring based on EmptyLords comments and the last pic he posted but I plan on checking the wires just to be sure.

Shoot man. I missed you tried the OEM part. Now I remember you saying you’ll do new axles and the tone ring check simultaneously. Odd how your work and the ABS issue surfaced at the same time. Not being a suspension work guy, I wonder how a tone ring could get damaged doing/not doing your work you did? Or do you think the shop did it?

I read up on the bushing and seems its an 2005-06 Tundra thing. Also, it effects earlier Tacos and 4 Runners.

Couldn’t find the part for 2002 Tundra.

    @Jerry311SD

I believe this is the one I was researching last year. Its almost twice the size as OEM with tow package.

it seems finding used manual bucket seats for these trucks is a hard task to complete for a decent price.. last 4 trucks ive gone and seen some asshole has cut up or broken parts of the frames.

Brute Force Fab has front and rear bumpers. Mine is a high clearance rear bumper with dual swing out. Everything on it is production minus the 4 wide jerry can holder which will be coming off for a production 2 jerry can holder and propane mount

Picked up a used Leer topper for $400 today. The fiberglass is in good shape, the windows are dirty and hard to open (some wd40 just to clean the track helped a lot) no keys but other than that it is pretty sweet. Do you think I got a good deal on it? I’m happy with it. Eventually i will have it color matched.

I feel like you're messing with me. I have literally been on the computer for the last hour trying to find a local that had an ARE white topper I was going to buy when I got back from vacation and now I can't find it!

I kept going back and forth on how I want to outfit my truck and have been searching a bit more with the toppers the last 2-days and finally committed to purchasing....

Oh man! This one popped up on Facebook marketplace on Thursday and I’ve been searching for months. Glad I jumped on it. I just hope it isn’t to much to fix the small things.

I made the two hour round trip drive to file a warranty claim on my LEER #122 topper for my 2002 Long bed yesterday, the clear coat has failed, window seals are leaking and there are cracks on top of the highest part of the topper. They tell me it will have to be shipped back to Indiana for repair / replacement, leaving me topless for the first time since 2003.IMG_2004.jpg

I got keys for my Leer cap at www.lostakey.net

You just need the number that's on the locks. I also ordered two of Lock Sock rubber covers to protect the lock cylinders.

With shells, does something from a 2006 DC fit on a 2001 AC? Are most shells interchangeable or?
