I may adopt "cracktivities" but not in the way it's being used here.

("Cracktivities" = the activities crackheads engage in). :monocle:

Thanks. Never knew about those but can see them now in your first Pic. Was that an option on your truck from the factory or is there a writeup on how to add? Guess that's another project for the list....

I'm at a loss here....why the desire for a light under the side mirrors?

So someone doesn't step in mud or cow manure or off a cliff or whatever coming out the passenger side I guess. If it came on with remote unlock I guess that could be good too. Otherwise it it moves when opening the door it seems like a bright courtesy light in the door card would be more effective for exiting. That was an LED upgrade had planned along with the bed / 3rd brake light assembly, map light, and backup lights.

They’re puddle lights. They illuminate the area you go through to get into the truck. Lot of newer/luxury vehicles have it. Especially convenient when camping so you don’t step in or on something that could ruin your trip. The wife’s gx460 has them and lights coming off the running boards as you approach the vehicle.

Yeah that would be good for remote unlock and approaching the vehicle. Stopped using the remote 15 years ago as it was so big to carry along with keys and the remote battery died .... So do you have a writeup or link to parts to add this?

"Puddle" lights, the answer is in the name. Really helpful if you live someplace where it rains 9 months out of the year. They only come on when getting in and out of the truck, not while driving.
