Yup. Just take one of those VINs, plug it into the EPC site, and go to the category/subcategory I mentioned. Grab the bushing part number. Google the bushing part # and see what diameter number (26/27/28) is stamped on the underside. If 28, not only do you have a matching vehicle that will have the used part at a junkyard, you also have the part numbers to order it new, OEM, for the bushings, brackets, and bar.

 

Welder broke while tacking up the front Coastal bumper. Will resume soonest.

My son is home with my former 2000 AC 4x4. He needed new front brakes. He likes bling, so he went with the Powerstop setup. We also installed a new set of ARK 1 piece splash shields and did an oil change.





The Freedom UCAs and ball joints are still looking good after 1 1/2 years.



Now it looks like we need to replace the power steering hoses going to the reservoir. It looks like it has a slow leak.

It's all true. I replaced the lower ca bushings on my Tacoma. It wasn't so bad. The first side was a major pain since I was learning, and tried a bottle jack/press at first. Then just torched them out. Second side went fast. Went straight to the torch. I think I'd take control arm bushings over UBJ...in a non-rust area. But it's a close one.

Got the rack bushings ordered, and got scared seeing so many lower ball joint failures so LBJ's are ordered too since I can't find if the were ever replaced.

It's the Coastal Offroad rear bumper from the Marketplace section.

My buddy is PCSin to San Antonio. He left today but I have 2 of his cars here. Car hauler is picking them up tomorrow late afternoon. If someone wants them and shoots me payment, I can throw them into the trunk of his Evo. You'd be responsible for linking up with him in SA for pick up.

A guy on here suggested Heat Shield for a windshield sun blocker. Well I ordered one and yes, a bit pricey (like the member said) but fit is TIGHT. I like it so much I've since ordered a complete set (front, rear, side windows) for one car, front and front side windows for another, and front side windows for the Tundra. These really do keep the inside temperature down. Eventually I'll put a set into each car.

Those are cool but don’t fit my need. Wanted something for the outside as well. I don’t need it for everyday use just for when I’m out and about.

 

I've got one of those in addition to my internal folding cab shade that is more for everyday use, and it works well, don't deploy it all the time though. Mine is reflective silver on one side. I've used mine in the snow too like you said and it dries out quick.

 

I would think heat wise.
This is what sun does to anything left on the dash locally for couple hours even if the window is down.
Wife left her glass case that eyeglasses came with on dash last week and it melted like that bottle, and its not even really hot weather yet.
We used to use a grayish black tank on roof to heat water during summer. It would easily hit 180-190 degrees by lunch. If it had been a flat black it would have gotten hotter quicker.

 

Finally put in the new steering rack, it was definitely toast!
