It’s gotta be higher than that. You’d have to be a toddler to sit up underneath the truck.

So my truck‘s owners manual has been inside a booklet in my glove box since the day that I purchased it (2006). I’ve literally never opened it, until today.

I found my truck’s original window sticker!

Had the truck at the dealer today because of the leak I noticed at this connection to the condenser on the driver's side - it had a drip of bright green oil (wiped off in picture). The same dealer replaced the condenser and the o-rings for both the condenser connections and the receiver/dryer two years ago.
Dealer now wants to replace three of the lines because they're 'old'. $1,600. No thanks! No attempt was made to identify why the lines were actually leaking just two years after their previous repair.
If anyone knows of a good automotive a/c specialty shop in the Rochester, NY area, please let me know.

If you asked me 3 years ago I could’ve told you. My coworker who grew up there has since retired.

I don’t know why but it seems like that pipe is bent. I’ll have to check mine.

Mint! Definitly some pitting there. Is your rubber vent tube intact, and if not, what the hell was that jamming it up?

It was old & beat up. Kept falling off which caused the dirt and water in there I guess. Cut the worn end off the vacuum line and now have a tight seal on there.

Any significant difference from the "generic" coil vs the Eibach option when ordering this set of bilsteins?

Hey you don't know how short I am! jk. Gotta be higher than that for what? Considering that in some very select locations I can almost already sit up under my truck with all four tires on the ground, another 12" higher only makes it easier. I'm not talking about clearance between the rear diff or even the frame and the top of my head. I just mean when I positioned myself right, I was able to sit upright and work on something in front of me. Like right at eye level.

What all did you do? Remove the actuator, clean it, and reinstall? Did you have to grease it?

Took the cover off, cleaned it, sanded down erosion on the metal strips(outer one mainly) then applied dielectric grease before putting cover back on.

What's the spring rate of the "generic" springs?

Is that Bilstein lifts dot com? If so, I agree.

In my experience, they don't know their ass from their elbow. I thought they were affiliated with Bilstein (before their name change), so I corresponded with some questions about Billy 6112's and they just gave me the most generic answers. Couldn't elaborate at all. Or flat out didn't know what to tell me. It's clear they were used to dealing with idiots with a credit card and a computer, not enthusiasts, who planned to do their own install.

Used it to haul materials to build my work-desk area/shelves/ etc... for the shop today. A little over 1100lbs, only about an inch of squat  hahaha
Slow rolled some back roads 30 miles home. She may not squat, but I can feel the boat like handling. OD off. Lost a center logo badge on one of my wheels

Yes, but their new name, SuspensionLifts.

There’s a thread on here somewhere. If you order from them, hope you don’t have any problems. Their customer support is anonymous person behind a keyboard that will only email. And will do everything possible to NOT give you anything, including service or help.

Started my retrofit install late tonight, didn’t get as much done as I was hoping for. Tried a heat gun approach in the supplied RA box but it took ages and I ended up just applying direct heat working my way around the housing; I’ll throw them in the gas oven tomorrow after work and see if it works better. Dig the way it’s looking so far, excited to see them on the truck.

This is exactly what makes retirement nice... When we slow down just a bit, we really get to experience a LOT of what we missed throughout the majority of our lives running around like raped apes in all the hustle and bustle that is 'normal' life!!!!
