Math. If my odometer says that I went 300 miles on that tank, I take 300*1.08= 324

A 24 mile difference across a 1/2 tank could be explained by me needing to block/punish a mouth breather. I’ve always gotta be on my best behavior or i’ll get 10mpg like the rest of you barbarians.

Bummer! I would try going through Serra and have them file the claim. They probably have a department devoted to it.

They are, I’m not sure if your into the stuff they have to barter…… but I’m sure you’d play along, your a good sport!
Everyday when I get home they ask me if I brought them home a treat, I ask them the same question and they get super worked up and say “we’re just kids! We can’t get you anything!!!”
I’m like I’d take a drawing or a cool rock, hook me up!!!

The 5.56 case they gave me in sedona finally blew off my antenna. Had some pretty stout winds the last time i got groceries. I was surprised it made it back to amarillo, and double suprised it made it home.

Pulled the trigger on a set of Rocky Mountain All Terrains from Discount Tire today. about 120 miles round trip to their shop, good run for my formerly short tripper truck.
Tires are good enough for what this truck is. I am actually pretty pumped . Coming from all season Coopers, these look nice and beefy, and the tread is DEEP.
The drive home was much more well behaved, but she still has some mildly whack geometry in the front end from the "accident".
Rained, so I got to feel the wet traction and braking right out of the tire shop (pretty decent for the price point) 3mnt.snowflake/50k/$624 out the door.
Previous owners tires were 3 Cooper disc HTPs, and 1 Dunlop. The Dunlop was 27 years old!!, Coopers were 4116
Ready for some State land 4x4 trails to get my feet wet.

I think I like these better w/o the bulbus center cap. The top of the cap looks like it detaches from the extension, going to try using just that.

If they have the barter bobble head their barter skills should be raised a couple points thus getting a few more caps out of you

Well I thought I had my coolant issue fixed but I guess not.
    IMG_9384.jpg
popped the hood after 3 hours of towing my camper. :(
Temp gauge never showed it overheated, have already replaced the radiator and thermostat and hoses.
Replaced the cooling fan clutch as well.
Doesn’t leak any coolant that I can tell but the overflow was full after this.
Only thing I could think is that the water pump is failing???

Took a couple reference rpm pics for you yesterday. Both are on my 265/70s. 1st one on the old tires, second one on the new.

I use this tire size calculator to adjust miles traveled by +3.7% 265 vs 245.jpg

I didn't know you have the bastardized master cylinder. o_O One of those freaks!

Are you sure all your hose clamps are set properly? Probably need to clean it up really good and see if you can find the source while it's idling.

My first thought but it’s only like 2-3 years old. IMG_9420.jpg

Still gonna run by the dealer to grab one.

Am I? I don’t know I was that ugly. Is it cause I have VSC?
The thing is, it doesn’t leak when idling, drip overnight or anything. Normal round town it does fine.
I did pull the serp belt cause I keep hearing a ‘grinding beating’ noise that I can only assume is the water pump?
I guessing the PO had the water pump done when the shop did the timing at 187K. It’s at 224K now.
Here’s a quick video of the noise that’s surfaced in the past 6 months or so.

Yearly oil and filter change. Put a whopping 800 miles on last year. Gave it a bath and put her back in her resting spot.
