Thanks to @whodatschrome we know that the AC, DC and Sequioa crossmembers are interchangeable. https://www.tundras.com/threads/tacoed-tundra-project.130491/page-4#post-3343943 So even if the part number is superseded and says "doesn't fit", I bet it will.

No i went with 650, i was hoping to possibly try 700 as well but worried it might give me more lift than i want. I guess I could always swap down the road if i want to.

Edit: I also wanted "extended travel" but it turns out looking at extended lengths on their website, its a difference of a 1/4" in length for standard vs extended. Apparently you can have them remove a spacer when getting them rebuilt and it will make them "extended length".

The 700lb springs are out of stock unfortunately. Otherwise I might pull the trigger at this price.

yea its a pretty good price! Also for my truck having the 5VZ-FE, Im alittle lighter up front so might not need 700lb coils as much. We'll see!

That's actually a dope sale price through Wheelers for the Kings, hopefully Colton can beat or match it. Looks like its for non-EXT and 650lb springs though.

Honestly, I would try and ask any vendor you order through if you can get them ordered with extended travel. Unless the vendor has stock of non-EXT and can get those to you quicker or on sale like this, the EXT shouldn't be more expensive.

Non-EXT can be converted to EXT but it's not worth doing that IMO until the shock is approaching time for a rebuild.

I did notice that and was hoping for EXT. Maybe ill ask them and see what they say. However that EXT version is only a 1/4" difference in travel, but every little bit helps!

And like you said, could always get it converted when it comes time to rebuild

About 1/4" in shock travel or close to 1/2" increase in wheel travel, but every little bit helps for sure. I wonder if they're clearing out old stock and switching to drop shipping these or something.

    No.

I have always used OEM Toyota wheel on mt Tundra trucks, but my favorites are not correct for the year truck they are on. My 2002 SR5 wears wheels from a 2005 Limited, and my 2007 SR5 wears wheels from a 2021 PRO.

Can confirm that the price that @oscardog86 got is deep deep (well below wholesale cost). I would assume as @des2mtn suspects that they're trying to blow off old inventory or something.

My rear windows have had broken hinge pivots forever and I found an aluminum set on Amazon for $8. Much better! Transimission pan gasket looks good too I was worried I may have smeared it when getting it on there.

I got paid to fix that very problem once. Unfortunately the truck was owned by hippies in every sense of the word. Those windows had been left open for several years with the truck parked in the woods.

I later had the chance to buy that truck for a real discounted price but the mildew was so bad in her I decided to pass.

    ****
Today I hauled the weedeater and did a lot I'd already been paid to do. Also pulled the trailer loaded with trash over to the landfill...."free day" is always nice to hit.

Hauled back two metal chairs, several sets of bed rails, and an electric heater that still works. People literally throw money away! SMH

Yikes! I got this truck from the original owner worst things about this truck are the random cigarette burns and all the dents from him driving it to the bar and back

One of the best cars I ever had (and never should have sold) was previously owned by a smoker. Burns in the back seat and I never could get rid of "that smell."

I think when they flick off ashes out the window those blow back into the open rear windows and land on the back seat.

Mevotech sells SPC arms individually actually, maybe @jpink can do that. I listed the part numbers for the SPC ones around heee somewhere. Mevotwch sells several different arms. And only one part number is the SPC one.

tl;dr - skid plate did jack shit for aerodynamics.

Took my 3rd trip up to Helen GA to finish up phase 1 of this technology job with what is now my 4th or 5th customer. Mpg still the same, these numbers are without correction for larger tires. Job takes me up 85, and up 400 until it turns into other highways; plenty of nonstop 65-75mph with little braking and acceleration changes.

Maybe there’s just something wrong with the truck. Sensor gone whack, has the engine firing in a way that’s costly. Or I drive like a maniac (I get great mpg on many of my previous non-German cars). I did notice the cam timing advance
seemed a bit weird (logically; not realistically) while flipping thru my scanner a couple months ago. I want to say it was like 12° at idle? I dunno. I’ve been suspicious of my cam position sensor for a while now.

That seems low for a fairly stock truck? My truck gets 13 (unadjusted) all day with mixed driving, shell, 2" lift, E rated 32s, a transmission skid... More if prolonged highway. Even if I have a bunch of shit in the back.

I'll check my timing next time I'm driving. I'll shoot for at idle and try to get it at at cruising speed flat and under load if I can remember.

My unadjusted hand calculated mpg is around 14.3mpg on these 285/75/16s, leveled with a camper shell and some gear in the back.

My un-adjusted hand calculation from St George to Barstow was 12.33 MPG on a tank filled with mostly 88 octane ethanol free. This is with my roof basket loaded with duffel bags. Could've been worse for a heavier rig, but I kinda thought I would've done better. Really need to clean Dave's old injectors I have on hand and get those installed. Last "tune up" item I can really do currently.
