Blue loctite shouldn't require heat, and will hold the fastener in tight with the inherent vibrations from the rotating masses in the engine. I'd probably keep it on, personally.

    Weight reduction, mostly rust.
    Both a lot of fun,
    Both a lot of trouble
    Both expensive
Tires can't talk back though, so there's that.

You didn't spend 3 hours drilling the old one out of the cylinder head
FSM doesn't call for it, and none of the other bolts had any left.

I like how everyone who knew the movie just sent quotes and didnt tell you. Once you see the movie itll all make sense why no one wanted to tell you.

Its a very good movie though!

Dad is keeping my truck while we’re traveling. He had to borrow it while is ‘25 Platinum was in the shop.

Today he was very excited to share he did me a favor by getting some work done on my truck, including replacing the ABS sensor that @FirstGenVol snapped.

    IMG_4650.jpg

Tried to not yuck my dad’s yum but was disappointed he did this without asking. I had already told him to not even bother with an oil change.

For reference, this all was replaced not 40k miles ago.

He didn’t keep the parts though. Appreciate him wanting to keep me and the truck safe, wish he would’ve talked to me about it first.

    Oh well.

Not sure if this is the right place for this question but it does pertain to what I am doing to my Tundra. I went to order 4 new bolts w/washers to mount the transmission mounting bracket to the #3 crossmember (the old P/N 90119-088985 has been superseded with P/N 90119-A0379) but because I included my VIN on my order it was placed on hold because the system said it doesn’t fit. Is this pretty common? And for those who have replaced these bolts, did I order the right ones? I hope so because I’m now going to be stuck with them. I’m basically getting 10 for the price of what 2 would cost at most places online. I bought them from NucarToyota of North Attleboro.

Your Dad f*cked you so hard that most states would consider this incest. Except for the South, we encourage it.

He paid a no name shop to install an aftermarket control arm and ball joint and remove and discard your SPC control arm. That probably didn't need replacing to begin with. So now you've got mismatched control arms. :smash:

I wonder if SPC will sell you a single control arm if you email them...

So I looked for first gen King shocks during the Memorial Day sales going on and they were either not that discounted or out of stock.

Well today I searched on Wheelers and they have them in stock (after Memorial Day sales ofcourse). However, they are marked down 25% for our particular part number for our trucks! With free shipping on over $100 orders.

So long way of saying, I got kings on the way!

That's a steal. Did you order 700lb coils? It's not letting me select that option on their website.
