Picked up laundry machines for the future house of Darkness. My wife's cousin upgraded and I took his Maytags off him. The bad news was his machines are upstairs, so I had to work for them.

Just a heads up, I was gonna order some Rock Sliders from STUBBS welding the other day. They emailed back saying they had some steel supply issues and now I just got an email stating that they are closing down the business! Does anyone know anywhere else to get rock sliders for first gen Tundras? Thanks!

[IMG] [IMG] Tundras new bed will be waiting for me Friday. 3 1/2 hour drive each way... but 400 bucks for tailgate, lights and bed. Not bad

Hmm, thought of doing that for awhile. Might do it next days off, I figured it had some sort of adhesive nonsense underneath.

Well that's unfortunate news. I was planning to order sliders from them.

Here are a few more options,

Thanks for the replies on the other sliders. Damn, the Stubbs slider prices were much more affordable though!

Don't know what's with Brute force fab but I've been trying to contact them and order sliders for my truck. Sent emails and also called. It's been a few days and no response. I only live a few miles from there, Maybe I should drop by and check.

If you have the rubber ones that I had there is no adhesive, but you will likely find some scratches in the paint. Mine have scratches that you only see up close, they could buff out but I haven't tried.

I'm betting they're the same, just a rubber piece with a chrome accent strip?

The ‘Piezo’ muffler ‘mod’. I feel like a turd gen’r doing this one. Will it get 278 comments? No.

Yup. No adhesive at all. Its maybe 5 or 6 screws each and I think a plastic tab or two, the kind that break no matter what.

Mine were dented and faded and I didn't like the chrome. I'm okay with the minor scratches.

Its the beeper sound maker for lock and unlock via the fob.

Blue tape muffles the sounds. Still audible, but at 25%.

Mine is wrapped in foam except for the bottom red portion where the hole emits the sound. Now it has blue tape over it.

I almost want to try taking mine out and wire it to my GTI. That one sounds like the car has a cold.

Good deal. I paid $500 for correct color bed, bumper, tailgate, lights for my Tacoma. But I had an 8hr drive each way. Luckily I had friends 1 town over I owed a visit.
Looking at your picture - all I saw was an axle with a good pumpkin. LOL.
Looks like they have the bed liner if you want it. Maybe a roll-up tonneau cover track mounted to the bed?

How do you plan to bring it home? I put 2 boards across the bed & put the 2nd bed on upside down & then criss-cross strapped between cargo hooks. Worked without incident.

The 02 Tacoma is getting hooked up to a trailer and I’m bringing it home on the trailer. Might grab other parts off this bad boy. She seems like she was well kept.

The tundra is going to be at the body While I’m getting it’s new bed shop getting things straightened out so I can mount bumpers and shit

how are you going to keep the bottom of the rockers from getting chewed up? Or are you putting it on flipped on top of padding?
Just curious how others complete the same task.

Strap through the wheel wells. Pad on the trailer. I don’t think I’ll have to worry about it shifting. But I’ll figure it out.
