Yeah in the bed maybe. Make it a mid engine design for a regular cab Tundra.

Looks like it takes 16 quarts of oil though from the size of that oil pan if it’s not deceiving me.

I'm just trying to imagine how the lower end of that all comes together... holy shit what a behemoth.
Never seen that engine, like one with the heads off.
But then I've never put 2 different kinds of plugs in an engine before either.
A lot of life passes me right by, and I'm perfectly ok with that. I'm just along for the ride.

Possibilities are endless. However, as long as you're not gettin too crazy with it, most leaf packs designed for our trucks specifically, will bolt up to the original mounting points. The springs get longer with more lift because they have more arch to them. Measure eye to eye and they'll be close to the same
You can beef up the hangers, shackles, perches, etc. with stuff you'll find here https://archivegarage.com/
check out the resource center link too. Lotsa good info, even if you buy from somewhere else

which is exactly why i still want to one day convert my AC truck to a long 8’ bed AC.
This is the grass clippings from just mowing the lawn. And if you really squint, you can see the Baja Design S2 Sport wide cornering headlights on the John Deere. The BD’s have pretty much the same wattage at the OEM JD 1156 matchstick headlights. That’s right, i have enough light now that i can now mow at 11pm!

Lunch box locker! I’ve installed them in the front and back of CJ7 waaay back before the turn of the century. They worked pretty well for a couple years…until i bent the axle housing and the Lock Right quit locking. And of course it happened at the most inopportune time. Luckily it was only a 5 mile walk home.

I got ride of my Lock-Rights (and swapped axles) and went with a temporary “lincoln locker”. I’ve welded up multiple diffs with my welder…maybe around 6 different housings? More reliable would be a full spool. I currently have two CJ’s with spools, but they kinda suck on the pavement.

    Sick! in a good way.

The only thing the light on my Deere is good for is draining the battery. Im on the fence about its replacement. A 48-60" cut zero turn, or about a dozen goats. Leaning towards the goats, because that's what Dale wants.

    Edit to stay on topic:

I have been welding the flatbed over the last few days. Tig on not the cleanest prepped joints and no shielding gas on the backside  good enough for who it's for.

I set had my diff set to 15 backlash. Some advise tighter like 9-11. I have had zero issues. I would think with that type of locker you are going to want to change diff fluid at 259 miles, 500 miles, then 2000 k to inspect magnet. You should only have minor metal glitter maybe first two. If your not switching R&P its much less involved.

Changed out my dash bezel for a like new junk yard AC bezel. My original bezel had sun damage (pictured below). swapped over the rear defrost button, vents and electronics.
    IMG_8357.jpg
Anyone with loose air vents. Might have Figured out what causes this. Look to see if this plastic pcs is missing or broken off (D shaped plastic pc in the photo) on the vent side. Mine was attached to the bezel still.

when I moved over the vents I found that they were very loose and felt defeated after all that work. But added that plastic pc and back to firm vents

Not sure if it part of the bezel or vent now. Looking at vents online (eBay) and that pc is missing on the vents. Mine looks like it’s broken off tho

    IMG_8356.jpg

On my next junk yard trip I will check other trucks and sequoias. I get them if anyone needs them for their loose vents

Early morning trucktivities. This tree choked itself by growing through a rock.

    IMG_8029.jpg

Was hoping to use the hole to plant a tree, but its not deep enough, and above a bigger rock.

Welp Murphy's Law strikes again. Attempted to do drivers CV axle(inner and outer boot rip) and both lower ball joints last night. A few hiccups but managed to stroll along. Came down to the last bolt(managed to get castle nut off), passengers side lower ball joint was seized pretty bad to the lower control arm. I'll try again tonight.

    Parts are OEM btw

I’d suggest an impact wrench if you have one and not too much torque, just enough to get it to break free.

Went to the salvage yard and got the passenger mirror back cover I needed to complete the set. Found another V6 manual trans 4wd tundra just like mine! Was hoping to grab a CV axle to use as a spare but these were totally rusted out. Cool to see another of these tundras in the wild though.

I got the castle nut off. I cant break the ball joint off from the lower control arm. Smacked the crap out of it for an hour and a half. Decided to stop because I didn't want the neighbors to get annoyed haha.

I believe I used the ball joint wedge tool the you hammer into there to spread them apart. Harbor freight has those

Or am i thinking of the wrong part that you are trying to get apart?

One of these? I was thinking of doing that since I won't need the old ball joint, can damage it as much as needed to get if off.
