What's your timeframe on needing this done? I'm hoping to start working on my front suspension this evening and will be trashing the spacers and readystruts. If you cover shipping I'll get the spacers to you as soon as I get them off.

Id like to have my 5100s on today seeing I've had them a month...... And what brand and size are the spacers?

IDK the brand on mine, gonna guess rough country's as most of the other lift shit owner 4 installed. But more importantly they're 1.5" aka 3" lift spacers.

Anyone used something like this to get a little more front lift with no preload change? Thinking when I put the new rear HD leafs I'll be pretty ass high. Not looking to be completely level as I'll be towing, but might also need a little more room up front for 285/75/16 tires. I'll ditch the wheel spacers if I go with the 33's to help with the offset.

I haven't but have heard of people who have. Some just to get rid of driver side lean. It seems to be a question of is it better to add a spacer or adjust the preload? I've heard arguments for both. Personally, I'm not sure how much of a difference it makes, especially with only a 1/2 inch.

I'm at the 4th (forbidden on the AC) notch on my 5100's (have been for over a decade and 130k miles with no issues) so I'm out of preload room for sure. Rides fine now, I'm sure E rated tires and stiffer rear leafs will fix that :D

Ok that won't work then. I'm not sure what spacers are on there. They came when I bought the truck. Probably 1.5" spacers but can't be certain right now.

Could it be time for new springs? Otherwise, I agree definitely add the spacer.

Pro tip. If you have any intuition that your lower cam bolts might be seized locate them before starting the project. Ask me how I found out the hard way haha

I’m pretty sure I have 4 new coachbuilder shims and extended hardware somewhere. I have no use for them anymore if you or anyone wants them. I’m too ocd to adjust my preload at different heights lol.

Center hub to fender hasn't changed, I'm front high at this point due to worn out rears and adding the topper. I'm still on original TRD coils up front. Adding any weight to the bed creates immediate sagging. My boat trailer that barely squats my 19 puts my 2000 practically on the bump stops. They're shot.

Also I just want to take a second and remind my fellow 20 plus year old truck owners to check to see if your seat bracket bolts are loose. The person that was here before me didn't torqie anything to spec and every single one of my bolts holding my seat frame to the truck was loose. So loose that my quarter inch impact gun spun all four bolts out with absolutely no resistance.

I'm just doing UCAs and coilovers right now. I'm holding off on the LCAs until I get my steering rack which is still backordered.

@KNABORES ? I'm planning to leave my preload alone. I guess I need to double-check that both sides are pre-set and that the drivers side is set to compensate for lean.

Yeah I may end up doing that, but this is fine for now. I was thinking I may not want them sticking straight up to get caught on trees and stuff, but that's probably overthinking it. They just did their job to Houston, then to Brenham, then back to Dallas. At least I've got the mounting block now and I can fiddle around with design if I want to later.

Bammmmmmmmmo Motherfuckers. It's tedious as all get out especially putting them red plastic rebound springs in. But both fully disassembled, super hot water and dawn scrubbed out the Sequoia one. Blew it out with compressed air the oiled the internals and replaced said rebound springs. Put the moon mist blue cover back on it. And presto.

So had some time over the long holiday weekend to track down a set of steelies from the junkyard as well as one black driver side, side mirror cover. Passenger side was already gone so hopefully can get a black one for that side eventually to replace my painted mirror covers.

Also working on building a winch plate and getting a winch on the front of the truck at some point and got some holes drilled in the frame to mount 1/2" thick grade 8 bolts all the way through both top and bottom of the frame to mount the winch plate.

Heres some pics of the progress so far. Painted my wheels Granite gray, hopefully it comes out looking alright when mounted on the truck, maybe by this weekend. Been liking other tundras ive seen with the factory steel wheels so figured its time for a change! $120 for all 4 wheels

Hard to see in the picture but the winch plate is 3/16 thick steel
