Generally speaking, yeah. The OEM sharktooth-shaped ones, at least. I can't speak to the aftermarket rounded ones. I either sold or gave my OEM black housing with aftermarket inserts to alb1k before using.

I have seen some of the cheaper aftermarket rounded ones will sunbleach to purple colored if they're consistently in the sun, though.

Some extra pics. Here's the OEM foams next to the aftermarket you'll find on fleaBay. And what the underside looks like with circles on the screws you need to remove to separate the halves. I'll edit my post above to include these.

I 3D printed a set out of TPE for mine. The file is available on Thingiverse.com.

I remember that, but I think I looked on a small screen. What's up with the resolution on that one bumpout, at 2 o'clock on the right side, 8 o'clock on the left?

I used a feature called “ironing” to try to improve the surface layer, but it doesn’t work very well with TPE. It actually shows up more in the picture than in real life.

Is there anything you can use to smooth out TPE, like acetone, MEK, etc.? (not that I'd ever recommend using MEK, that shit will destroy your lungs and olfactory, but it works wonders when you really need it!)

Not sure… TPE is pretty tough stuff and very chemical resistant. I could probably tweak the top layer settings to make the appearance more consistent.

Futzing around online putting a parts list together for my summer of madness refresh on the 2000. Sitting at $1600 between my Rockauto and Toyota dealer parts. Gonna try to score a better deal on the Toyota parts. Current parts list just straight price on Ourisman is $620 with shipping

I haven’t but I know someone that has. They ordered a couple things. Took something like 3 months to get a couple items that did not match their description, and when they asked where the 99¢ item was; out of stock, sorry. We refund you 99¢. It’s right up there with Wish and Temu, and also signs you up for a lifetime of spam marketing emails. YMMV

The Southeast Toyota 25% off deals seem to be occurring more frequently now, think they've done three of them so far this year. Maybe they'll have one again around the fourth.

I'm 80% sure those are just ATS springs. I'm assuming ATS is making their own springs based on my phone conversations with them. But Dorman and Husky both have had the EXACT same part number over the years, so I'm assuming they're reselling those ATS products.

Kinda like how you can buy SPC upper control arms with Eibach branding, same arms, different name on the exactly same red box, all the same parts inside, 30-40% cheaper.

You haven't seen them? Hell, I figured everyone has seen them by now. I listen to a lot of shit people would probably point and laugh at me for. Wiz khalifas on my level rattles the ole peepers pretty good.

Oh, here's a video of it. I know it doesn't translate well, but it gives you an idea.

I've ordered lots of shit off Aliexpress. My wheel controls, several sets of bi-xenon projectors over the years, several sets of bi-led projectors over the years, random other shit for coworkers and shit. Never had any issues. I use a virtual credit card number any time I order. Sure, it takes a bit to get here but I've not had any issues.
