I'm jealous! I keep meaning to camp one of these weekends but keep deciding to finish off truck projects first. "Get them all done then you'll have the whole summer!". Deadline is the last weekend of June when there's a big campout bluegrass jam I go to with the camper. I will be ready by then.

And I went ahead and ordered a new wiring harness and 4 to 7-pin adapter for the Tundra. Somewhere in the system the driver side blinker has failed and I'm sick of trouble shooting. Don't like throwing money at things rather than doing the work to track down the actual problem, but 99% chance the problem is in the aftermarket wiring. Too many reviews of trailer wiring harnesses say "works great for 2 years"...Mine is almost definitely original from '02.

I think I effectively ruled out the trailer wiring.

This is also a thing now.
@JakeJake I have every intention on rewelding that hook in and reinforcing the rest of the welds.

Funny I was pointing shit out to my nephew in the store and that little shit said just that, crossed his eyes and everything. Lmfao

I mean it's all machine welded, I'd just feel better with two more covers on each of the balls, and the hook welded all the way around.

They're now own and manufactured by a Chinese investment firm. All their ball joints, all of them and anything that takes a ball joint, is no longer an all metal construction; but now uses a low density plastic socket liner and the cheapest rubber possible

You'll be there soon enough! Did you order 08921-34850 *pushes up nerd glasses*

I'm feeling confident that replacing the breakaway module fixed my latest electrical woes, but there isn't a piece of wood big enough I could knock on right now...wait a minute...

Now you can swap out the Moogs under their limited lifetime warranty and pay it forward by donating them to someone else.

I believe @VR6T ordered Detroit Axle tie rod ends as a replacement, not Moogs.

Well my impulsiveness and lack of research does it again. I didn't realize Toyota made an adapter. And for less than I paid! But what I ordered will do the trick. I don't remember what I bought for my Tacoma, but I got them off etrailer, and they've lasted 9 years.

Why would anyone in their right mind ordered part that failed them?? And how did you even come to that conclusion?

Right and it has a generic moog/duralast part number and says made in china. Just curious as to why he would continue to buy the same junk instead of buying Toyota when he knows better.

Oh okay. I almost bought that curt kit, too. Looks simple. You're basically just replacing toyotas converter and downstream wiring to the 4way. Fingers crossed it does the trick for you!

Do you have an idea of how much stuff is made in China. 90% of what you consume every day is made in China or has products or parts globally sourced from China to make it.

With that said seeing as apparently you just don't understand stuff. Some things are made to a higher standard at a different factory. These are not moves they're not duralasts. Detroit Axle has an exceptionally good reputation for their parts. The stampings probably came from China and then it was probably finished being made here in the United States on assembly line.

So here's an idea just click on my profile name and block me because I've determined from this interaction that you're just a jackass that has never had his teeth knocked in. And it clearly shows.

Start paying mine and or any of our weekly salaries and then you can dictate what brands of parts we buy here.

Interesting, Why wouldn't they repackage them in their own branded bags.... esp since Moog has turned to shit.
