Haters gonna hate. I love it. Reminds me of the 01-04 Taco grill. Would've been cooler if he color matched it.

Along with the skid plate mounting bolts size and TPI as well?

My buddy Mike Steuder rocked one of these till the frame rotted out. Then he solid it as is to his buddy who then fabricated an entirely new frame from scratch for it, replaced the bed, refurbished and rebuilt everything but the transmission. It still runs and is in NE KY

I was able to use the EWD and answer my own questions and confirmed them with Crutchfield support. Halfway done with new stereo install. I found a metra harness that I think I can use to replace the factory radio harness and have a better connection.

Covercraft seat covers. Worth the expense? I suppose, based on the options. They fit as well as the Durafit seat covers I put on my Tacoma, as far as custom-fitting, but the material is thicker. Durafits were $99 for the front buckets. Covercraft are $270 for the fronts.

Not super impressed with the stitching, but overall it was good, and there aren't areas I'm afraid are going fail. Just a little sloppy. But compared to true high quality covers, or even the ones Covercraft sells in partnership with Carhartt, which looked really nice but are double the price, these seem to be priced well for what you get.

Have used wet okole in the past for a super tight fit so they almost look like they are the OE seat fabric (except neoprene), but looks like they're about $700-800 now for both front and rear depending on seat configuration.

Yep. These will look slightly better as the wrinkles work out, but while they're definitely custom for my truck, they aren't fully form-fitting like top-of-the-line seats. For the Covercraft/Carhartt seat covers, which looked completely form-fitting, it was $599 for just the front. I wanted to spend money once, and figure eventually I'll have a dog in the back seats so the leather would need protection from nails. So for less than the price of just the front seats from Carhartt, I got the full set. Good enough for me.

Ugh, shit like this makes me hate people….

I’m just now seeing this. I’ll be back in a favorable time zone in a couple days. If my hip holds up. 72 miles of walking/hiking in 7 days kinda puts some tax on the old joints. You get it figured out yet? I’m a few pages behind.

Yeah it was pretty awful, but there was more to it than what you see. I made that myself with a style/look in mind, however, failed miserably at achieving it. A swing and a miss, as they say. I made a few different grills, such as the one on my truck now. I like it.
That said, I still have the one pictured. Will trade for 1- 10mm socket or wrench

Had a 50% positive experience hauling the camper for 1st time. Controller started throwing codes the fuckin second we started to leave town, so I flipped around and proceeded to troubleshoot and cuss for several hours. Finally got it working, took off, codes started again. Fml! But we've gone too far.

Once we got there, being with the family fixed most of my problems.

Looks like fun, im surprised you even need a brake controller with that lil pup, but I understand the reasoning.
I always have a kink in my neck that won’t go away……….. strangely unless I’m camping, fishing, pewin, or off roading……. I need to win the lottery and become a full time hipster with a van build and a straight neck

Lol I know exactly what you mean. Technically, I don't need the controller...well maybe, our truck's manual says anything over 1000 lbs (trailer is close to 2k) needs a controller, talk about technicalities... but since I'm hauling precious cargo I want to be as safe as possible. I could definitely tell when it was only my brakes lol. Good thing I don't only rely on brakes for slowing down.

I think the old breakaway could have been part of the problem, so I put a new one on and will install a new trailer end. I rigged something up to test the controller and so far so good...for now.

The surround is the stock plastic, I just chopped out the middle section. Bars are aluminium tubing. There's about a full tube of liquid nails that you can't see, holdin it all together. For the 10mm, I'll take a ratcheting wrench if possible. Thx

I'll buy mine up to the axles in mud. That's all the glamour you get from me.

Speaking of trophies, hows the cv axle coming @Mr.bee?

We also need another category: Loudest.

Fastest odometer you say? I do need to "blow the carbon out".

Getting ready to order the lcas to begin operation BLBJ and I had this thought...

The later year spindles will have the abs ring in the wheel hub, is that going to conflict with my non abs truck? I can't imagine it would, but I don't want to get it all done and go, "oh shit".

It shouldn't, you can just weld the ABS sensor hole shut, cut a piece of metal that size and drill a hole to bolt it shut, plug the hole with something and seal it with RTV, or just buy el cheapo speed sensors and cut off the wiring harness.

Better yet, just do what I did to @jpink and snap the sensor head off inside the hole. Voila.
