Nice. Similar to what @FrenchToasty mentioned once, simply moving the intake location higher up the fender.

I've worked with some high volume water discharge things, and there IS some weird physics voodoo with the angle cut. w/o it shits spraying all over near the discharge point, with the angle cut... smooth as silk.
    Searched for the "why"
Perform the calcuation for velocity. The 45 deg cut provides a larger cross sectional exit area and thus lowers the exit velocity. This translates into less noise and pipe vibration.
Reduced Splashing: A 45-degree cut can help reduce splashing at the outlet of the pipe. When water flows out of the pipe, the angled cut can direct the water away from the immediate area, reducing the likelihood of erosion or pooling around the pipe outlet
    .

I bet that cuts noise or getting a resonating frequency on this mod.

What’s funny is I’ve seen this work in low volume low velocity lazy plumbers piping, I was impressed, and I’ve used it later on. That 45 helps get them above minimum clearance above a drain for health code, and helps direct the water better than a flat cut(probably unreemed like the animals they are)

Now that you say that, I've seen a few applications/Commercial I think, under a stainless sink or cabinet that had no p-trap just dumped into a floor drain (with a depression/pan). Cut on the angle, yep.
Not a plumber by trade, but I've done a bunch of it from 10" sch80 on down. I remember a time when I didn't know what that spinny thing on the pipe cutter was for. I was a filthy animal

Changed out coil #5. I can attest to these TRQ 1AAuto.com replacement coils not lasting long. Probably got 4 years and 25k miles out of them.

They are a good cheap alternative for a quick fix though so they served their purpose.

Nice! I've been without the dimming knob for a long time for that very reason. Pretty sure it would crumble.

Thought I found a good deal on one of those nice DC center consoles...till shipping & handling got added! Used that car part link I've seen people post here. $100 shipping from Washington to Montana. I get it...I suppose they go pull the part once I order it. But dang. Was a $60 part. I was willing to take that hit. But not $160.

Guess I'll have to hope something pops up locally some day.

That's how they get ya, cheap parts and way over priced shipping. That's how OpticsPlanet and CheaperThanDirt get ya. You also run the risk of never getting your order from those two companies.

The whole experience on that site was a little sketchy. I saw the same exact part for sale from multiple salvage yards for wildly different prices. And I mean the exact part. Same photo of the same part, being shared (stolen?) by multiple wrecking yards, selling for different prices.

So if anyone else is thinking about going from the 3.961 to a 4.08 rear end, you're looking at about 154(average) rpm increase at speed, with the OD 3speed. I noted RPMs at 30 50 60 and 70, average came out to 154.25 across the range. Food for thought is all

I'm still kicking myself for not grabbing a Limited, wood grain looking, dash insert, when I was at the junkyard last month.

I started digging into my new truck. Now I take back what I said about the seller. I'm not happy with him purely based on the wiring I dealt with today. Going to make me work a lot harder to install my new stereo.

Shiny new part for me! Although sometimes I'm a little quick to pull the trigger. Had I waited a few more hours, I would have had the part # for the 4way AND the converter, for an extra $30.

What's yours like? Are we talking the "dash bezel"? I may be weird, but there's a lot about the Limited I don't like. I bought it because it was the right truck, mechanically and otherwise, at the right time, but I specifically didn't want leather or wood grain. One of the first things I did after buying it was start looking for black bezels. So far the only ones close to me haven't had a professional stereo/backup camera install, so I've passed on them. I want a black bezel, but not enough to settle for a butcher job.

If I can find a black bezel in as good a shape as mine, I'd certainly buy it. Or trade...

Yes! That's exactly the pc I'm talking about. I have the black and it hasn't been butchered, only broke 1 clip lol! It needs a good cleaning, but I'll keep that in mind. Replacing the bezel is fairly far down the list of personal preferences at the moment.

Well it's just the 4way connector + bumper harness. The converter is the black box behind the driver side taillight. But, if it turns out that fucker is bad and I buy the full kit, and you just need the 4way, it's yours.

IF you only need the 4way because the 4way connector itself is bad, I have another from the junkyard. She's yours.
