I did this a couple weekends back but still counts lol. I removed my passenger door panel and tightened the grab handle as it was loose. May need some glue as it felt like it may be stripped partly. Also removed my passenger window switch and took it apart to clean. The switch worked to go up but not down. It had a lot of carbon arcing on the contacts and took a bit of effort to clean it all up. Then even move time just to get the stupid thing back together lol. Saved myself about $40 repairing it instead of replacing it! There are two contacts inside the switch and they face opposite sides. And it was so hard to get them back into position thanks to the internal design having some ribs inside that made it really hard to move them around as I needed. It sucked lol but is repairable.

I prefer chili without beans, but I've been served it with beans my whole life, so I don't fuss about it either way

I didn’t think so either, just curious where it is from. I’m thinking it’s from something when I pulled the stock bumper apart to build the new one

    Chrome is for cars pre-1990

    For best results, use pre-1980

Can someone help me figure out what fuse goes in this SHORT D.C.C spot in the fuse box under the hood.
It looks bigger than a regular fuse, I have had a 20amp in there for a long time and just realized that is the wrong fuse after my radio and power locks stopped working.

Iv been reading its called a Short Pin but im trying to find a part number

Called the dealer and they said nothing goes there

Thank you for send this over, might have to just hit the junk yard. The dealer has been no help, even a tech said nothing goes there. Im telling them my radio and locks dont work if there is nothing in there

I have had a 20amp half way in and out in that slot since forever and have started to get shortages

I did some digging and found this IMG_4390.jpg
It's for a 86 but the concept still applies I believe, Basically that fuse is to be removed in order to stop parasitic draw during shipping and is supposed to be reinstalled by the stealership. That tech you spoke to is a retard (and please tell him I said that)

it's also called a "short pin" and is not an actual fuse

Yeah, it controls the radio and power locks I have found. I have also found the part number after contacting Carson Toyota, I feel like me and the part guy have been talking way to much lately hahhaha

for the 2006 tundra Short D.C.C fuse 82824-20140.
