I recently installed my own custom cargo lamp lights on my truck:
    IMG_0504.jpg

But when I was looking online I saw that housing and I liked the look as well as the idea. Do the white LEDs project towards the sides of the truck at all? I think that housing would be a real nice solution if it had a wide output.

I have a rigid bedcover on my truck so the lights I installed don’t do a ton with it in place, but when removed I think they would light up nearly all of the bed. (More info in my build thread if anyone is interested)
    IMG_0514.jpg

Also- the cargo lamps turn off at 5mph. I’ve been using mine as aux reverse lights but that 5mph is slower than one might think. Is there any way to increase that number? Maybe something in techstream? I’ve never used it. Having them on up to even just 10mph would be awesome.

We're swapping the entire bed. The frame needs some love but is salvageable. It's getting Por-15.

I’ve towed a Mercedes ML320 on a 16’ tandem axle. I knew it was back there. Pulled great. Stopped ok, not great, no trailer brakes on that one.

All this talk about pulling. I did the math using the 4.08 rear end and the final drive of the 5 speed I am looking for, which is 7.280. If I did the maths right I will "gain/ free up" about 85 to 87 FtLb at the rear wheel using the factory new ratings for the 00 2wd AC 2UZ. Down side is I will go from 2050 rpm at 60 to just under 2200 rpm. But as is everything there us give and take, gain and loss.

Thy pink dragon doth been slain. Driver side sway link had about an inch of play, and the passenger about a half an inch. Tightened them down and all is quiet again. :bananadance: Until the next clunk that comes around anyways

    Here's the plan for Friday:

Open up the rear drums and get them adjusted
Take the rear springs apart and put in the AAL
Crank the front COs up to match the rear
    Finish rear diff breather mod
Replace headlights, markers, and fog lights
    Replace rear window latch thingys
    Possibly replace all interior lights

I got a new Taramp 3k watt sub amp and a new 200/2 mids/highs amp from our buddy @daveeasa I'll try and put in tomorrow at work, maybe tonight.

Oh shit, I just had an idea. While I have the front end ripped open I should do the sequoia alternator and big 3 upgrade. Fuuuuck iiiit.

Hell yeah. I gotta start parts hoarding. Good news is I’ve got access to a shop, so no laying in the gravel or sunburns. And there’s a beer fridge and TV. Ozarkysteria ‘24!!

Oh I call BS. I'm coming to your backyard in April and you don't want to hang out. I had to book an air BNB with some crazy old woman who has no reviews yet. I'll probably get molested because of you.
