For kicks i just had to take a peek at the current prices. I bought a GM Ramjet 350 back in the early 2000’s. That engine’s price has literally doubled since then!

If it wasn't clear, the AT is a hiking trail. Not an off roading trail. Some people hike the entire distance from GA to Maine over several months. Those are thru hikers. Others break it up and do it over time.

We have the AZT here, I’d love to do sections of it one day, I’ve researched certain portions years ago, lots of forest roads that connect the start and stop of each section

I received my brake pads for my Ferd from RockAuto just today. :( First time I've had a problem with a RockAuto order. This is some bullshit.

I'm sure there has to be an explanation here. Warehouse issue, something. I'm going to guess someone switched up a box. What's written on the bags?

Someone on here recently got a 10- or 20-pack of something they ordered a single item of, which I found interesting. I'm pretty sure they use fulfillment warehouses which may be external to them for shipping but I may be wrong. Hopefully they don't give you hell, and if they do, CHARGEBACK!

I've emailed them as I can't find a phone number for them anywhere. I don't think they have one.

One time I ordered motor oil from Walmart and instead this giant box showed up. Inside were like 5-8 things I didn't even recognize. I later learned they were effluent filters that cost like $45 each. I tried selling them with no luck. Ended up giving them away.

Interesting, IPEX part number 068054 actually comes back as a 2" elbow vs. 3/4", but what's in the bag at least matches the brand/company/part type.

I'm going with warehouse mistake. The fastest way to reach them is through the website, reporting 'problem with order' and go from there.

New battery, new tires all around + new oil change. Just ordered new shocks as well, went with Eibach, will set them at 1.5” lift, will post pics once shocks are installed. Truck recently started making a sound only when driving in reverse, I suspect is my rear u joint, lmk if anyone has had this issue before. Thanks

2WD or 4WD? You neglected to put that in the truck info under "Vehicle one-line description" in your profile's Personal Details.

What kind of sound? Clunk? Whirr? Rattle? Scritch? Squeal? Skipping sound?

2WD, more like a squeal skipping sound.

I ordered a new hoverboard for my son on wal-mart dot com. He waited anxiously for five days, when the box arrived he quickly opened it to find a box of dog milk bones. o_O

Do you have an LSD rear?

If yes, do you know what chatter feels like?

If no, does it seem more prominent when in reverse and turning than it is in reverse and wheels straight?

Have you checked your rear diff fluid levels lately?

If it was a clunk, I'd tell you to check the 4 bolts visible from under the tranny crossmember, since that crossmember is known to crack on 2WD and the bolts are known to back out/fall out.

(Pro tip, you should check those 4 bolts anyway, make sure they're tight, and blue Loctite them into place if not already done)

LSD rear, if your ass-end isn't rusty:

    Hi PMH
How did your caulking solution worked for you in the long term? I have an '02 AC with problems draining as fast as it is entering from above, especially when parked at certain angles like uphill and tilted to one side, which sends all the water to one corner. Seems like kind of a design flaw to me to have those roof rack channels collect all the water from the roof and divert it essentially inside the cab...

It should be staying outside the cab, in theory, inside the window frame channels. This reply may help, shows the intended water flow and gives you a tip or two on how to clean out the drains: https://www.tundras.com/threads/wha...-gen-tundra-today.2558/page-1371#post-2797657

I kinda wish there was an easy way to pop the outer window trim off, but best I can tell it's a clamshell setup, where you need to remove bolts from the insideto separate out the back window assembly which that outer clamshell is attached to. We had one member on here pop his out, I think I asked for pics of the backside of that outer rim, but never saw a response.

Other helpful water leak info over here: https://www.tundras.com/threads/definitive-2000-2006-cab-area-rain-water-leak-thread.70464/

Tried do my regular driveshaft greasing but ran out of grease. Figured a quick 5 minute trip to the auto parts store and I'd be back in business. Nope, spent an hour going to 8 different stores and not one had
Valvoline Full Synthetic grease in stock!

Tried to order from a further away autozone that showed in stock only for my order to be cancelled because they probably realized they didnt actually have it in stock.

So thats what I did yesterday to my truck, haha
