Gonna have a decent welder make me a double tapered i-beam built with a reciever & i'm gonna mount it to sleeves & leaf's that override the crumple zone. Not sure how im gonna keep. It from getting floppy at hight speeds, but i'll figure it out.

Hopefully they gave you the other arm also

Word of advice: Confirm you've got all the parts up front now, ahead of time. Trust me. The first SPCs I ordered from BilsteinLifts.com aka SuspensionLifts.com arrived beat up, some items clearly pre-opened, and I was missing, like, the little castle nut and cotter pin pkg for one of the balljoints, and I think there was a rectangular slide (or both?) missing. Exploded diagram is on the instruction sheet.

Wait ... is it gonna turn out all ADD'ed like the cap + camping setup where it goes through about 5,000 iterations and we finally get payload 2 years from now?

I'm asking, as the guy who ordered his suspension stuff almost a year ago and just got it in, and his audio setup about 2.5 years ago that's still boxed up in the closet because ... kids + no free time (but really, probably mostly ADD, TBH)

How you like your OMEs? I've heard nothing but good things about them from Tacoma and 4Runner friends, but seems most Tundra people here didn't like em.
Which spings did you go with?

They are stiffer than OEM and are non-adjustable. I do like the feeling though. Only had them for a few hundred miles so I'm sure they still need a break-in period to know for sure.

It looked non-adjustable, to the point I ran the part# at Toytec before that last reply to see what they're calling it.

I mean, Wikipedia or a dictionary or someone ultra-anal-retentive may argue this point, but if we go by "street speak" or "industry speak", it's not a coilover if it can't be adjusted. If it's static, it's just a plain old strut. Not specifically a McPherson strut, just a strut. I assumed when I saw Coilover at Toytec's site, surely it must be adjustable ... but it's not. I feel like that's unnecessarily confusing for the average person who may not know what terms to use when dealing with suspension stuff.

Sorry, I know that's not specific. I work for a dealer group that owns a Toyota store so I get parts at list or wholesale price.

I was buying in bulk from Serra Toyota of Birmingham, specifically. Mostly because they give you at least 20% MSRP on parts, FREESHIP coupon worked on orders over $75 and I could always find something else I needed, and they weren't charging tax.

Last time I checked under the new Toyota Parts system, they were charging tax, but they might've fixed that recently, I'm not sure. Either way, getting free shipping and tax knocked off made a huge difference.

I've seen a few people on here over the years say WalMart had them for sale at $2 a filter. I just wouldn't trust them - just like scAmazon, fleaBay, Sears, and NewEgg, WallyWorld has opened their doors to let anyone and their mom sell, and organized crime is capitalizing on knockoff parts opportunity.

What oil you running? I seem to only find the 5w-20 in conventional.

edit: wait... might have found it, just needed to feel helpless for a second. 00279-1QT20
