Bmf: I found the bumper I want! It's beautiful!
JODOOR: It was hand made in hobo heroin capital of the world for nearly $2k.
    Bmf: Sad TX noises.

But yes, it's from Fallout: New Vegas and it's based on a tarantula wasp. And it's scary as fuck.

Does anyone have experience with replacing their own windshield? Where is best to buy the windshield, urethane & cutter?
Before you roast me, I did auto body work for 10 years & moonlit for a few weeks helping a glass guy.
Just trying to run the numbers & see if it's worth it to do myself to save the $$$$

For now...they are installed just thought I was missing a part to make them shut off with the light on. I'll get to wiring them in here soon and let the yin/yang go back to normal
I'll assume you meant the resistor and not me trying to cure your OCD with my lights.
I've just read a lot about the resistors liking to melt. Not sure it bothers me enough to buy high Dolla resistors to fix it for ya!
My biggest concern is the factory bulbs melting their plug in bases everywhere on these trucks. These seem to look much better than the bases on more frequently "on" lights. The bases of LEDs get hot but can't be any worse than halogens.

Last time I had one replaced it was like $300. Not sure if it's worth the trouble honestly.

Well that isn't fair, meth and fentanyl are definitely more prodominate.

Also, I was mistaken, it was $1700 for what it is worth. I had someone pull out in front of me and got a partial cash out for $1800 that I used for the bumper.

And if you think whatever, it is just $100, well maybe. But if you talk to my wife that $100 is enough for a winch, light bar, and two sets of light pods. YMMV if you try to price those on your own

Don't take this the wrong way, but you're a fucking weirdo. Goes hand in hand with 'liking spiders'.
If you can source the glass... I had a difficult time because it seemed like the only people that can buy from the glass manufacturer, are the installers, and none of them want to help you, as you're taking money from them by DIY'ing. That was my experience anyways. I did remove it, to do some rust repair/bodywork to the flange before taking to a shop for the glass install. Could've easily installed it if they would've just handed it over. They make most of their money on labor, not product, but you know that with your bodywork history, eh?

Bullet-proof is probably overkill for most folks in terms of cost and weight and modifications, I strongly recommend that 3M film you can beat on with a hammer or crowbar or whatever and it doesn't make a dent.

The sun shade is a Covercraft UVS100. I just looked and it seems like they have doubled in price since I bought mine, but I think is still worth it. They are vehicle specific and besides just keeping the UV off an old dash, keeps the truck noticeably cooler.

Also, here are a couple more pictures, don't judge the suspension too harshly right now.

I'm 5'8", i dont judge people by height. I do like the wheels (even though they dont have enough spokes. Tires, (even though they have too many lugs). And width, (just right for a sport trac.)

Attempted to bleed the brakes with a new 6 pt brake bleeder wrench only to find I need to remove the tire because it gets in the way on the upswing. I can’t win! :annoyed:

Now I need to wait till Saturday and do it at the folk’s place once again to avoid HOA reporting.

Looks like everything from the bay up. I'm in Calistoga at the moment, and I've seen so many 1GT driving around everywhere it's nuts. 50% of the cars here seem to be Toyotas.

Oh, this one is all pleasure. Kids are out of school and we promised one day we'd take them to see the redwoods before California snaps off into the ocean** or the redwoods burn down. Weird turn of events popped up and led to a little extra coin in the pockets, so we pulled in a friend to watch the house and dog so we can hang in NorCal for the next 7 days. Highest north we're going is Ft. Bragg (I wanted to hit North Coast Brewing this week, we hit Cooperage Brewing yesterday to smash some hazies), we're in Calistoga now hanging with old friends, will be in Manchester in a couple days to get some cooler seaside adventuring in.

Lived just over St. Helena mountain in Clearlake for about 5 years. Calistoga is a cool place. Cool pizza joint there. The Castile de amoroso is close by. It was cool before it burned. Not sure if it’s still open. Fort Bragg was fun. North coast brewery is great. Take the kids to glass beach, my kids loved it. Drive through tree in legget. Avenue of the Giants near Garberville.
