Yes I did. Spent a while under there checking everything out. Still got a ways to go. It works well.

Side note, I think I'll just buy a new air filter. This is pretty bad. White receipt for reference.

Believe you're guess is correct about DRL resistor location and yes it was standard feature on V8 AC Limited according to 2002 brochure....optional on others.

    @Mr.bee , according to the 02 EWD the colors are W/Blk and W/Grn ??

One of the MSD went bad after about 10 months. I used one of my old ones and they warrantied it no issues, but it took about 10 working days to get it. You have to send it in and they have to test it. Otherwise they are working fine.

Put stabil in the gas and fogged the carb. Jack stands under the frame and a light tarp’ing. Or perhaps the pit of misery, er no the tent of pain!

When we were in Williams, AZ the gas station by the interstate was $5.05. I drove a mile or so further towards town and it dropped to $3.95. What a scam.

Nice, I wanted to upgrade to either MSD or ACCEL but heard bad reviews on both. I just went with OE Denso and Pulstar plugs which have been great for over 1 year now (7K+ miles).

Went ahead and skipped the regular bag & dbag lights. Full-on ultra dbag lights for the win. I think i might suck at adjusting em, so i'll fit in better.

Downside of those lights is short life cycle despite the high price. I was lucky to get a year out of them. Light output was nice though.

Still not quite any excellent products out there. Which surprises me. Seems like they don't come out with cool newer stuff until supplies on the better-than-average-but-still-not-perfect stuff are diminished. Which I'm sure is by design, because it's one company making them for rebranding, and they don't want to get stuck with surplus.

I've got some we pulled off my buddies srt4, but i'm not sure if i can get em apart without destroying the projector lens housing. Been noodling this idea for a while, and it seems like the best bet is going to be to cut em out from the back or try to saw the assembly lens off.

I'm considering doing what @shifty` did with his headlights. My projectors have to be adjusted constantly because the housings are so cheap. They got bounced around so much in Sedona that both bulbs were completely off target and almost crosseyed. You really can't go cheap on them like I did. I should have just spent more and done it right with Morimoto.

I mean, typical baking temp is 250° - 275° at 5-7 minutes time. As long as you stick within that range, it should be safe. I always need to look the numbers up every time. YMMV, exercise your best judgment.

I'm pretty sure @SouthPaw listed out his method used, and I think @TX-TRD1stGEN did also when he did his projectors a couple years back. In case you wanna get a 2nd/3rd opinion.

Resealing is not hard once apart. If you have some RetroRubber, clean out the old channel, pull the stuff into a cord that seats in the channel to get it right. It doesn't need to fill to overflow, you just need a good bead in the channel before plopping the housing back in the oven, baking, then clamping it sealed.

Just make sure you do all your test fitting, aiming and aligning before reinstalling the lens :D

These use tiny h1 bulbs (i think) single filiment, and i'd assume the other light is extra for high beam? (Also single filiment)

should i find projectors with beefier bulbs? How do your miniprojectors address hi/low beam?

I took the truck in to Discount Tire to change the studded winter tires/wheels to the summer set. They offered me a deal on some wheels that a customer never picked up and sat around for 16 months. My '03 Tundra wheels were looking shabby so I took the Black Rhino Guide wheels in midnight blue for $50 each including lug nuts, mounting and balancing. They each weigh almost 8 lbs. less than the stock alloy wheels which should increase gas mileage 12-14%.

I'll probably refinish the OEM wheels and not sure I'll keep these but they sure are purty.

While the engine was warm I sprayed down certain areas with the clearner, avoiding as many electrical connections as I could. Let it sit for a minute then gently hosed it off. Touched up a few places with a rag.

There are three LEDs, basically. Low beam uses 1, and high uses 3 - I think, at least.
