@WutsaZJ those projectors are gonna be sweet. Your truck is nice!

It's a Ford brake thing, you wouldn't understand.

Visiting the in-laws. I used to come out here every other weekend but I've been avoiding it to save money. Between gas, eating out and beer these trips cost a bit.

This looks real nice. I’ve toyed(pun) with this idea on the 02’, but the hood grille ring chrome (like chrome) interferes with the look. The later first gens have a natural advantage. Good job.

The war against water intrusion began today. The ARE dealer sold me some rubber weather stripping they call double bulb as well as some other sizes. Then I picked up a piece of pipe insulation.

For anyone that didn't already see my previous posts, this shell was made for an 06 Double Cab so there was around a 1/2" gap along the front bed rail. Hopefully this will keep the majority of water out.

Was this taken from under the truck? I looked hard for it earlier(up top) and didn't see it.

Hope it works for you. That flat wide foam is what kept the Aluminum Cap on my 87’ Toy p/u dry for its duration. Sometimes wish I still had it. Back before they were ‘cool’.

Did you have any foam on when you had all your intial leaks? I know the cap is not the perfect fit, but wonder what you were doing for a seal prior.

It was taken from the top side. See the starter?

You’ll need @Darkness Tom Cruise Engine Levitator machine to access it. I was able to feel for it first (hand Kung Fu training) as it is camouflaged. Was able to bend it back and take a pic. Tried yesterday to access a dry run on the install of new and it is not going to be easy. Might have to put some plywood over the engine and lay on it.

    Say what?

The secretary is doing the ordering later. I’ll let you know if its ‘one’ only, as I’d prefer to order 4 units at that price (3 full syn oil changes for $80!).

The DEX III is a steal as well. Ordering 2 units as I’m going to 10k mile transmission drain refill intervals. Why not at that price? Drain a gallon and add a gallon for $13. Better than stealer charging $200.

I had nothing on the bed rails. On the front I had a piece of pipe insulation but it wasn't the full length. I honestly think the windows leak too. If this doesn't seal it I fear nothing will. I've got all gaps plugged now. Rain is expexted tomorrow so I may park outside tonight for testing.

Sorry, I meant online only. Was wondering if I could swing by my local Wal-Hell and grab it.

Agreed, both are great prices. I just checked my tranny dipstick, engine hot, in neutral. Fluid is perfect color but looks a little low. Was reading between the cold and hot mark.

Random question but what is this part?

It's between the fuse box and brake fluid reservoir. I'm still trying to learn everything. I look under the hood and there are things I can't identify. I've wondered if a Haynes manual would help.

I think its online pricing only. Not sure until its purchased.

From memory, that part is like a transformer that cools the difference in the electrical reduction/addition. For/to the fuel pump?

Well after a month or so of perfect starts after getting a new battery my trucks doing the click on first key turn and then start on second key turn again. Only on initial start up. Checked voltage and alternator is charging at 14.3 volts. So confusing

The wallywurld advert is trickery. Might have to go there in person and call them out! Hahaha. Might be fun as its been 15 years since stepping in one. Put own my 24 Cap and chew some bakky.
