I did the Hellwig rear sway bar on mine and it made some difference but not huge. New HD leaf springs, made a massive difference in body roll and driving manners.

So my repair place tells me they can most likely get a replacement fuel line to the fuel rail even if it's obsolete. Huh?!?

He tells me some dealers they work with hold onto stock of obsolete parts that only shops can obtain...hey not fair! Sounds like BS to me.

Guess I won't truly know unless I have to test that theory.

On my east coast rotted out T100, the tank had a leak at the top line. The shop I took it to said he could make a custom braided line from the tank to the fuel rail. I ended up getting a junkyard tank and all of the lines so didn't need that, but from what I remember it wasn't crazy expensive.

That was in Seattle and the shop hated that truck since they weren't used to dealing with rust and they couldn't use heat since it was fuel lines. He was happy when the frame cracked and I sold it

Man, those stupid springs are so expensive though! I have airbags and new shocks to throw on it, was hoping that would do the trick

Picked up my FGT, shop re-clocked one of the shock hoses so I no longer hose rub while turning. Man I wish I had a shop. Need to get going on surveyors to make that happen.

Approaching 9 years on my timing belt. Last changed in 2014. May do a thorough overhaul on the truck when it’s time. Front wheel bearing, maybe UCA, LCA and ball joints. New rear leafs would be nice too.

Stopped by the shop doing the fuel lines. Guy broke off some of the clips holding the fuel line to the frame rail and then tries to blame on someone who might’ve done work on it in the past.

It’s original! Nobody has touched it but him. Own up. Sheesh. I don’t care too much but I wish they were more truthful.

I Know. I wasn’t too worried. I’ll bet when I check it out most of the clips will be broken and it’ll be zip tied to the other lines.

Exactly like how they said they don’t do things.

the center (and leaf on the ground) are 2nd gen pieces, and a have flat spots, so i'll have to roll em out a bit, might kink the ends to follow the front & rear leafs radius (1st gen leafs). Leaf closest to the rad is just there for balance. Both will match, one set mounting to the top bolt bumper support bolts, the other mounting to the lower bumper support bolts. Plan to wear out a few holesaws before plating with 3/16.

I'll try to fill the gap under the headlights with lights, and the gap under the grille with a winch.

also realized my watertank saddlebags (for the motorcycle) could fit inside the bottom of the bed. Under the fuel fill hose. Can fit behind the axle, too. Outboard of the leafs. @ 1.32 gal each, all 4 is over 5 gallons. I know polo wouldnt complain.

    C4E46602-ED3D-4C11-AEF6-46C96F74DED2.jpg

whats the smallest hose reel you've found? Couple smaller wheels and a retracing mechanism could fit in the bumper.

Not the greatest of work for $413 but I didn’t have a lot of options… filter needs a zip tie.

1/2" bender woulda been a better pic, but you get a roll of stainless tubing and fiddle with it until it fits.bonus points for ospho dipping all the hardware.
