They tune the stock ECU. I'm guessing it's a reflash program they use. DAP Claims great success with the 2UZ VVTi.

Yea, I've only heard rumors of VF tune. Don't know anyone that's ever actually successfully ran one. I've visited their website many times and they never list 2UZ or any 1st gen applications.

Man, that was a really interesting bunch of angles to watch everything happen from. I appreciate the work you put into making it into a video like that. Expected to see most of what was shown except for that axle wrap. Didn't imagine it to be so drastic. I wonder how much more of that going on is due to both shocks on one side of your axle. And where is all the clickety clankety jingle jangle comin from? I'm no psychiatrist, but it sounds like you've got some screws loose. haha
and what exactly are you goin on about? To be clear, I'm just askin about the guides that you speak of

Those go pros really pick up noises. I think in the front, I need to use better bolts on the side mounts of the bumper. That or something else attached to the frame like the skid plates likes to make a noise. I should also check the winch bolts, but I highly doubt that is an issue. From the rear, I think it's picking up the recovery hitch thing in my receiver. I can jiggle that - I should do it again with nothing in the receiver and see how it sounds.

Solid leaf packs. Weld each leaf together. Lower it so you're constantly driving on the bump stops. Weld the frame to the axle.

    Fixed

Stay off the gas, lol. I am confident these springs (and most) can handle it. Bigger tires and shorter gears surely make it more prominent. And, my shocks were adjusted all the way down there. I guess my point was that's how warp can happen, but I'm not expecting warp. But, traction bars are what some people use. I don't think I've ever seen them on our trucks that wasn't a crazy build.

As long as you don't shim it so much the slip yoke bottoms out into the tailpiece housing on big bumps, I guess you're right?

Changing driveline angles is definitely one of those things that math can help determine necessity of, but if it ain't acting like it's broke, I'm not "fixing" it. :D

I relocated the spare when I put the AG cross member between the shackles. I made that skid plate because the bottom of my bumper is like a plow. The skid is bolted to the cross member I added and the hitch tube.2B0911DA-079F-4402-9F0B-E2DB569D086B.jpgF5129BC8-09EB-484E-B18E-B06199BCA0F8.jpg2FD8F727-FF27-47C9-9DEF-967F3F276C8F.jpg

They were from Amerilite. Their website didn't have this particular one listed, but they had it on Amazon of all places. I was pleased with how they turned out. The instructions were rough though, fortunately I have some electrical knowledge that helped me out.

As far as I can tell, they are pretty much the exact same as the stock lenses that I replaced. I imagine they'll fade with time, but my old original ones took 18 years to get as bad as they did. I really like the new ones.
