Are OEM pads ceramic? From my small knowledge of pads I thought ceramic were the ones that didn't seem to throw as much shit. All the rest just left black stuff on wheels.

Not originally, they changed like maybe 10 years back to all ceramic. That is only like 10 years too late for my brake dust encrusted rims. :D

Some days I really wish I had that couple extra inches of an RCLB.
(But I do love being able to slide my seat waaaay back!)

I was wondering about this when buying pads last week. Rock Auto says you're correct.

Part of the reason I want to drive by Erik’s on my way is to have him help identify my squeaks :)

Is that how the limited came or is the moulding painted?

So far I've been happier with my EBC Orangestuff over Powerstop Z36 pads. I've read these are one of their dustier pads, but it hasn't been too noticeable so far. Going to switch my rear pads out to Orangestuff too.

Mid-door moulding is painted as part of the chrome deletion.
Step-up is OEM, and also painted.

Are one of those what you're asking about?

Angle of the photo makes the cab look big as hell here.

I got a pad/ rotor kit from Summit. Pretty sure these are the pads by themselves: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/ebc-ed91657 They make a few different pads for us, if you're considering EBC I'd read up on orange vs. red vs. yellow.

My buddy is. Won’t be doing it for anyone else. But I’ll have info to share. Preliminary experimenting done. MPGS are back. Removed some fuel, played with VVTI a little. Trucks happier. Drive home was ~15mpg. Drive there was 10..

Still needs fine tuning. But obviously without a dyno that means I have to log it all in road

Bitedit. Hard nodding the ecu to. Flashing it is a headache. Hence why he won’t do it for everyone. I’m building an engine for this in return

Ordered some parts to help make the "Big 3" upgrade a more bolt on upgrade. Still not 100% sure the part numbers are correct, but time will tell. Big shout out to @shifty` and @empty_lord.

Here's my post on the Big 3 thread which leads you to Crackies thread where all the discussions were held.

If you saw what was involved, you’d understand why that can’t work.

people need to keep bugging OV tuner.
