I've never waited on parts in a Lexus dealership.

Do they give out expressos and piniani sandwiches while you wait? :p

You'll love 'em. I've been running them on my truck since.... whenever I got my wheels? Anyway, well over 10K miles through all weather conditions and every terrain except sand, and the only thing they don't handle like champs is sloppy mud. They just don't clear really well. The dealership didn't believe that they weren't new tires when they did the inspection on Monday.

They do have a bit of flat spotting, but it works out in a few miles, so not a big deal for me.

Good to hear! I haven’t heard many bad things! I hate cleaning up mud so I try to stay out of it. Winch is there if I really get stuck. They’re heavier than most brands but I have more faith in them for towing. The tread pattern is growing on me too!

Any wild guesses or bets hedged on what the code will be?

Engine is not really running noticeably different so I'm thinking O2 sensor. Noah chimed in thinking the same. I replaced bank 1 O2 about 8-10k miles ago.

I'll break out the OBDII reader in a little bit and scan.

Emissions/EVAP was the other thing on my mind. I did check gas cap. I haven't done anything lately that would've cracked canister, and park in a sealed garage w/o rodents.

Maybe a vacuum line associated with the canister? They do dry out & crack after 10-15 years.

Well, this wasn't expected. This was the last thing I was thinking. I've cleared codes just to see it if comes back, maybe it's a fluke?

    What does DTC stand for?
I like how it shows how long and how many miles since DTC cleared

Doubted. I buy standard gas, but Seafoam things every other change.

Only thing I did different recently, about 300 miles ago I added some of the Seafoam "high mileage" or whatever into the crankcase. I really need to do a long, hot drive on the interstate and change oil, but I'm kinda screwed right now with most of my tools packed. (This is me making excuses, I could totally make it happen if I was desperate).

But I highly doubt that would cause this. Anyway, cleared... and I'll watch for anything weird.

Well if you don’t have a habit of putting in el cheapo gas all the time, you may just have a faulty knock sensor. The seafoam in the oil shouldn’t have anything to do with it.

Doesn't a faulty knock sensor normally cause it to go into limp mode for safety? It did that on my friend's Lexus. If it is the K.S, you might as well replace that starter while you have the manifold off.

Hopefully it's fine. That job would suck.

I agree. Could be my fuel pump is shitting itself.

Or it could just be that the OBDII dongle or app is throwing bullshit codes, too. I may try another app.

I'm just skeptical due to lack of noise or vibrations, and what seems like regular power and performance.
