I usually wash it off myself as I don’t want it gummed to my frame not knowing if I missed a spot underneath.

I usually just reapply mine but I noticed I've still got a a ton of sand from the beach stuck to the frame so I'm going to pressure wash and start over. If it looks clean you can probably just reapply. You and I only see salt occasionally anyways.

You totally missed my point. It wasn’t about the relay. It was about how he described the relay. He said it was “Jerry-rigged”. And he was not at all involved in that conversation before. But yeah. You and I both called it on the faulty relay.

I really need to get a pic of the solution @Mr.bee performed on my truck. It works great and was basically free.

Also, I had to get a refund from fleabay when I ordered my lock from there. Seller never shipped, then showed it was delivered to the mailbox on my house. I have a communal mailbox station.

I geico as well. Just curious, what's your cost over there? I think I might get a small discount for multiple policies, but i pay roughly $65/mo for the tundra and roughly $18/mo for my bike. 6 month contracts, but autopay monthly.

It’s kind of hard to appreciate with it rusting from the inside out. At least it’s been reliable drive wise. Only left me stranded a couple of times due to low battery or water in the gas tank, but that could happen to anyone.

Well, not today but yesterday...changed the oil and rotated tires. Did the fronts to back, then crossed back to front. Greased driveshaft zerks. Either I did something with the tires but can't replicate the sound now from my bad lower control arm bushings thread. Sorta confused. Maybe in needs to settle more? Only driven about 5 miles since rotation.

Today I washed and discover a flaw in paint job after the sun went down, may have to be resprayed. Gonna take it back to see what happens.

I can't find the breakdown, but my total is $137 a month for the truck, a 91 SHO, and my daughter's 08 accord. Liability plus no/under insured motorist. I have the bike through allstate at $83 a month full coverage. I'm about to move all my vehicles to allstate as geico is about to raise my payments for the next 3 months.

I use these magnets to keep mine closed. Pop out the rubber bump stops, and stack two round magnets in their place.

Next set of tires I’ll probably go down to 32.5” or w/e is close. Still look good. Won’t sacrifice much for what I actually use the truck for. The original plans for this truck are no longer valid since the 95 will be an adventure rig

Doing a little headlight recon and adjustment tonight. For some reason my driver side headlight only comes on around 50% of the time. I have to turn them off, then turn them back on which usually does the trick.

Side note, I really like working with a flashlight that has a magnetic tail. This Olight stays in the garage and gets a ton of use.

The V6 has a similar on/off issue that I haven't been able to figure out. Let me know what you find out! It may or may not be applicable, but hey more info is always better!

    Good luck Erik!

I had the same issue with my projectors. Do your bulbs flicker at all? When driving? Mine did and new bulbs fixed it. Been good for a while now.

Hmmm.... it sounds like what I'd see with a ballast, automotive or overhead fixtures. Only reason I asked about ballast. I don't think a faulty resistor would cause it, but in the event it only ever happens on one side, try swapping the resistors left to right and see if the issue follows.

Not sure of all the competent names? I have projectors.

my headlights don't flicker but my Baja Designs fog lights were. I think I finally solved that though.

If you had to plug any kind of box inline, it's usually either a ballast or resistor. Ballast is usually on HID, resistors can be on anything LED.

Either one of those two can flake on you and cause weird fire-up issues on lights.
