Do any of you DC folks remember the plug and play Bazooka powered 6" sub? Dealers were selling them in the mid 2000's. A nice little compliment to the JBL setup, rounded out the sound.

I was watching a member on here with a Phoenix Gold class D amp for sale. 800.1, 800 watt and stable to 1 ohm. Nice amp. Eventually after several weeks I bought it, and needed to find a new 6.5-6.75 sub that could handle it. Enter Kicker 300W 6.75" comp dual voice coil 2/4 ohm. Fits like a glove. I ran it at 4 ohm (because the amp was too much for it at 2 ohm). Most of you don't have this enclosure, and I'm going to further seal it - but damn.

Ya - I never had one but the specs were so good seemed like an easy call. I would have a hard time buying one new - but I did OK here.

There's a guy selling a zen amp, I'm sooooo tempted, if I were single it'd be a no brainer...

Haha, yea - we have to show some restraint. How is it up north? You left at the right time - we are sweating our balls off here.

I got skin cracks by the half dozen right now, kinda dry. At least we didn't lose power. Getting permits together for 3 tree removals so that my trucks don't get squashed when the snow starts falling. This place has lots of green. At least it hasn't been hot, just pleasant. I am bracing for impact though.

Got one tiny Taco mod done but not much time for truck mods and still need to go get the Tundra and bring her home someday. Then the real mods begin.

This picture reminds me...I'm missing 3 of the 4 seat bracket/bolt down covers for the front buckets. Anyone know the part numbers for these or think I'm better off going to the junkyard?
Also gotta find the front bucket seat inner arm rests since I somehow threw mine away.

I've tried looking on sparks parts but can't find what they are called or locate them in the diagram pictures.

You'll never have to worry about someone keying your ride because it'll just blend into the existing design. :D

Yeah, 22 years in north county and then, boom, just like that, gone.

Once the old washer and dryer are gone (heading to the horse farm) I have actual space in the garage. If I find a better spot for the miter saw and snow tires I'll have 15' wide between shelves and a 2 car door, tons of space. Just not very deep, 18' to the stairs which are cement, so we have a pie in the sky of a separate 1.5 bay to the right if setbacks allow and the wife doesn't freak at the cost. Would be so nice to have the whole thing open up under a roof and be able to stop/pause midway without any stress at all. Also I likely need much better light if I'm doing wrenching. But for now this space works.

Garage floor is scheduled for 10/3, that'll make it way nicer.

Almost forgot. Finished with the katzkins install, got my passenger seat heater with oem switch wired and hooked up. Had to splice a wire for the driver seat but will install tomorrow and then be ready for winter.

My dad spent 62 years in East County before I moved him up here. Says he has never felt more at home and felt that way within weeks.

Thanks. Not the color I wanted as they really don’t match the dark grey interior trim pieces but once I finished all the seats they look pretty good together and still better than the beat up stained cloth i had or the oem tan leather seats I’ve seen. Over all im happy with em.

I run these in my garage. Link
They just daisy chain together and I use an adapter socket in the original light fixture in the garage to plug it all into. If you're not trying to look fancy these work great. No issues so far.

Click 'View Full Size', then click 'View More Images'. Out of all the images available and my ignorance of DC rear seats, I can't figure out which is the right seat. Anyway, it's looking like the part will probably be around $30/ea.

The best-case for you to get the part number would be having another member pop theirs off, and look on the back side to see if there's a part number. This way we'll know what it's called and can hunt better.

Looks good. FYI, if you're using the OEM switch and it goes in this cubby, this guy over here would certainly be interested in buying your blank.

    upload_2022-9-12_9-17-26.jpg

I was in a similar boat, but ended up buying several of the 48" Lithonia fixtures at Home Depot for $9.99/ea, and used one of the following ceiling-mount adapters.

    shopping_922c606bf82654f181ca8378fc52a88c90870524.png

First couple of fixtures I used IRT-10036 tubes (T8/LED/20W/2100 lumen each) at $10/bulb, but w/later fixtures I direct-wired them to remove the ballast, and bought PLT-10021 tubes (T8/LED/18W/2000 lumen each), then retrofitted the originals just the same. Your setup looks like a far better buy (-30% at least), but there wasn't a lot of cheap-enough LED options on the market back in 2015, people were still fighting anything that seemed "too green" back then.
