Holy hell, does it ride like murder? A lot of guys who install top or 2nd to top notch usually complain about ride quality.

I like the look of more tire meat, myself. I'd prefer 17s with 285s, but suspect it's easier on AC trucks to get away with 16s and 285s.

Lmao, I honestly haven't noticed much of a difference with ride quality believe it or not.
17s still look pretty solid imo. But yeah I think it's a tad bit easier for AC to rock the 16s with all that chunky tire goodness. :D

Gotcha. Well I know it gets hot AF in every corner of that city. It's funny when I moved from there, and I'd tell people where I was from, how many people think it's just a small truckstop town. What is there like 15 high schools there now?

In the process of getting the last load out of Portland we rolled a new milestone about halfway home. Old girl did damn good during move, racked up about 5k on it from start to finish. Time to treat to that new TB and an oil change.

btw @bmf4069 how far off does that 255/85r16 setup jibe with speedo? I was hunting what tires would be ideal on 16s. Looked like 285/75r16 would get you just under 33 while adding an inch of width (32.8 x 11.2), did you stick with the skinnier 255/85r16 (33.1 x 10) for rubbing concerns?

Yardman asked if I was going to really put these blocks into it o_O:rofl::rofl::rofl: It is a Dam truck...I'll clean after the AC boys unload their blocks

And I am really liking this bedliner and how it allows me to "Cheat/do it right" for securing things... this 2x4 will hang out in the shed rafters until needed again.

I'm off by 5 at 80. Yeah, I didn't wanna rub so I stuck with the skinnys.

They're pretty good! I'd recommend get a 1.25" spacer as well.

Our Trane is finally being delivered this week..

Outside unit needs to be up and the rest of the blocks will be used on "Honey-doo's"

And as far as a "leveling kit" , sorry it didn't even make truck squat ,:muscleflexing: then again the "previous owner" spent good $$$$ on suspension..

Never been big on duct work and putting another 750 square under permanent roof led to the "plan"

I'm adding a little over 500 sqft and considered the mini split but decided to spray foam in the attic and swapping out the old r19 insulation to r30. Drop 2 new ducts and worst case scenario is I may have to replace the outside unit, go up 1/2 ton. Funny to see I'm not the only 1 doing this.

I haven't been happy with my bumper light bar so I'm tearing it out and replacing it with a 32" single row spot beam. This should do the trick
