Have you figured out if you can run no colors and just the red brake light activation? Or is that why you found a solid amber that then red brakes ?

Looks like he used one of those stretchy bracelets from Peter pipper pizza prize counter, maybe 70 tickets?

I tightened my alignment hardware today. Scared the shit out of me when I heard multiple successive loud bangs and my steering wheel suddenly wanted to go every direction except straight. Guess I'm going to have it aligned again tomorrow and have them add some sort of threadlocker to the mix.

Did you change your draws already?
Maybe check the steering shaft coupler, and check everything else again too, drive it slowly on surface streets

I "realigned" it by just backing up and quickly cutting the wheel back and forth until everything roughly banged back into position, then hopped out and cranked all the hardware down tight. I know I'll have to go get it aligned tomorrow, but at least it doesn't feel like trying to steer using a piece of silly string for a steering shaft.

Edit: I did change my drawers.

They make a stainless mount, fortunately, the bolt holes lined up quite well on my rack t-slots. I'm only using the outer holes, but fashioned a support to the other cross member.

I've always thought those eagle jacks were cool. Are they actually worth a hoot though as compared to a standard jack? I know they've got to be miles better than a Hi-lift.

I have yet to find no running color, and I don't suspect it's there - but I haven't looked hard.

Suddenly getting tire rub on the FGt (tacoma). Comes on about 80 mph.
Dug in tonight - inner fender seems to be missing most of the fasteners. Front end of it was blowing back into the wheel at speed.
2 bolts, 2 nuts, 2 washers. Good enough for tomorrow's commute.

They are a jack - but with a skid for off road. I was going to get the HF and add the Solo Skid, and a mount. Adds up to about the same, and I believe the solo skid loses the wheels. Then it's off road only. You don't want a skid only on concrete/asphalt. Floor jacks have to move when they jack. Gets janky without wheels on a hard surface.

$200+ for the mount? I’m leaning towards the stretchy bracelets method lol

Hahah how much of the plastic is still left? I did something to the 4runner and forgot to strap some of the under plastics down, hahaha sounded like a bike with cards in the spokes! It rubbed a decent sized hole!

Probably - I got an earlier gen off ebay for 100. Doesn't have the lock hole. I'm using a cable lock, but only while I stage for a trip, the mount comes off very easy in my setup for daily use.

Whew... I'm not sure I can justify $600 for a 3 ton model.

I got a 2 ton. and added the mount off ebay. The HF was going to run around 200 + 300 for the solo skid (maybe mount as well?). Someone else, Wheelers?, makes a Skid as well, but all of them had tradeoffs and the Eagle did not. Price only

That's about the cheesiest damn name I've ever heard for a jack kit before.

    But beware of this:

    upload_2022-7-27_21-13-5.jpg

I guess they're probably sourcing from China. That makes the "patriot" name that much more ironic. Why do companies do stupid shit like that?

Yup. Only the pads and extensions are made in the USA, apparently. So patriotic.

Wait, lifting a 1T truck and potentially getting under it is not inherently safe? With the right jack? lol.

I mean, it should be. But if you're sourcing from somewhere with a poor track record for QC and no legal repercussions from someone dying using their product ...

I can't speak much. I bought my 3t floor jack from HF. But at least it wasn't being pitched as being for "patriots", y'know?

Yeah, I get it. They had the same disclaimer when I looked. I think the attachments are where it's at, and source your own bottle.

And for the record, I would buy a HF jack all day long. I even gave some thought as to if I could mod a skid and keep wheels. I would have if I had a machine shop with hydraulic brakes and the such.

I think we have the same stock offset - +15mm? I think you will be at where I am in the front with 3/4" spacers. I expect that to be awesome.

Yeah, pretty sure the stock were +15. Really think it’s in the sweet spot now.
