Fine with me. I thought long and hard about going LT or SAS out the gate but for what I’ll use this truck for, a quality MT setup is perfect. Plus daily driving a LT or SAS truck wouldn’t be very fun.

Pretty sure the one on the right is the tire I have.

The new good years are interesting.

ATP's are nice. Had em on both my tacos. I really like my new AT3xlt's. It's a similar tread pattern as ATP but has an aggressive MT style side wall

About 9 Bens. Less if you don't need HD. I don't know the lift. For me, I don't care so much lift as droop.

Yeah, I coulda sent my kid to college....

Drove 22 miles in rain on the new tires. Feels so planted, it's really different from what I was used to. These are E rated so the sidewall is a bit stiffer, the tread blocks are a bit hard. I think I'll be happy with these for the next 5 years.

That would be interesting to see, and a great mod if it works. I may be wrong, but I think the size of the double cab rear window is different.

Took off the roll-up bed cover today, put on the tri-fold.
I can see there will be a lot more water getting in the bed w/ the tri fold until I do some weather stripping, but even so.
Simply by design of the side rails of the roll-up, it will easily keep the bed dryer.

Good thing I don't keep stuff in the bed that needs to be kept dry.
Day to day - I will far away prefer living with the tri-fold.

Clean out that slider rubber track. There are weep holes in the rubber and underneath on the metal track in which the slider operates. This is a problematic area that results in the leaks on floor boards back corners of cab threads. Many think its the third light, but its actually the slider rubber goop clogging the weep holes and water spilling over inside the cab.

took a look at my tires today. They came with the truck & I have been noticeably pleased with them, so finally look to see what they are.
    Falken Wildpeak AT3 W
They are only a little loud in the dry, everything I could want of a tire in the wet / fresh snow / packed snow / ice.
    I'm really pleased with them.

Well I finally adjusted my BPV and i think it actually made a difference. Who would have suspected about 3/8 inch adjustment up would make a difference in braking? Hopeful it only gets better when I flush the brake system and install new wheelers off road SS extended brake lines Friday. In other news I just realized despite what Toyota says about my VIN... I DO have an LSD!!! :yay: :woot:and a mechanical one at that!

Plugged in my SG2 and filled up my tank. Another tank two and it will be calibrated but that might take a while. Might run the cord behind the dash too, just wanna decide if I like this spot first.
