So what axles are those? I'm having severe leak issues with mine, but @NickB_01TRD has the same axles and isn't. I don't know what the hell is going on anymore.

So the already boosted guy finds another boosted and chipped tundra in his junkyard. Meanwhile I can't find an abs controller for a 1st gen taurus to save my life. Much less a GD supercharged tundra. I did find this last time though:

Guess it could be possible you got two junk axles and I got 2 good ones? Idk
If it was just passenger side I'd say seal for sure but both sides is kinda weird

Man, I looked again the other day and it's almost gushing from both sides now.

The second pic you posted looks like the outer seal lip is touching the tapered part of that axle.

Last pic almost looks like the axle isn't in all the way but I'm not sure.

I'm not sure which side this is but here's a pic

Finally made a proto AC to DC grill adapter lip to get rid of the gap.
Needs a dimensional tweak or two if I make another. DupliColor 3coats primer, wetsand 600 and 800, 3coats super white II match, wetsand 800 and 1200, and I'm on clear stage. I let it cure in the sun and such so easily 5days process. But you can get some pretty dang good results for just spray paint.

Added a new head unit for some modern tech. Also added a camera in the rear that I can turn on at anytime. I prefer a factory radio setup but was missing Bluetooth audio and android auto.

So finally I can drive my truck. It's been tied up for refurbishment for awhile. It's getting hot AF here in So Fl i cranked up the AC and heard some rattling. Tried removing the blower motor and, of course one of the screw heads broke. Oh well. Here's what I found ...easy fix

Wired up my pro lights, not sure I like them. What do y’all think? I could’ve swore I had white ones but it’s been so long since I ordered them. They came with the taco grill I was cutting up to make a pro grill. Oh well maybe I’ll change em

What an amazing find! Did you check to see if it had the TRD headers? If you don’t mind me asking, how much did it cost?

Nope, stock manifolds sadly. Price was $2500 out the door, and the owner of the junkyard was super chill. He said I could take anything I think I'll need for it, so I now have the whole setup.
Heres some photos, I've been cleaning everything for the past couple days.
    7U3Wc7Kp9smQuX24Kn1OQcVfuuq7_mcEjtIyzJpc_512063d108121cee2b1e1b6d724193e2b6a71ff3.jpg

I also plan on painting the fuel rails, water neck, and a couple other things blue so here's them getting prepped.
    nRb7vXLMRwqrqc2yKSDRQt_yoYLU3CYpuBrrlzew_dac43a56179b8191a706bf11426cf6c444f3f77a.jpg

And finally I have a question for yall. It came with a TRD 71*c(~160*f) thermostat, but that seems a bit too cold for me. Part of me wants to stick with the stock 180, but I also don't want to doubt the engineers at toyota. What would you run? Oh and do any of you have experience with meth injection? I'm planning on getting a kit from SNOW and using washer fluid.

    Run the 160°

Oil/coolant temp is good at 160. Gives you more head room for heat soak.

This is one of the best feel good stories I’ve come across online. May it treat you well for 500k miles. There’s a well known dude(forget his name) who rebuilds/makes sure SCs are working perfectly for about $1k. I’m far from being a mechanically knowledgeable guy but seems like a good idea to be on safe side.

I’ve had the TRD thermostat on my truck for a while. No issues and in my humble opinion, if Toyota engineers made it, the part belongs on our trucks.

OK, so I have a question. You're already running a turbo. Do you have two 4.7 vehicles? Double boost on the tundra?

Nah, just switching to the blower. The turbo is fun, but Im getting sick of blowing exhaust gaskets and when I saw this opportunity i thought I’d make the switch. Also as tempting as twincharging is I doubt this motor or trans will take it
