Anyone crazy enough to try 2022 floor mats? They look a little better.

well, maybe only the passenger side.

My interior was pretty damn good. But, the amount of black water the extractor pulled up made me rethink it just a tad...

@Darkness and @alb1k I just ordered up the sqhd 2/2.5 gen res bottle. Don’t know why but I have faith that our pump will fit the res. Hopefully it isn’t delayed or backordered and I can get it working before T2S!

Warsher fluid I believe, relocate kit for the bumper he’s running. Thankfully we don’t get much rain here, but we do get some mean bugs that can make your windshield a mess

That's what I was thinking, but not 100%. I ran my lower bumper bars so I could keep it in it's original place and hide the sheet metal in front of it a bit. I think some overkill "Raptor" lights are going in there.

Once I can find a “bumper” for the 4runner and make that look stock again, I’ll take the winch that’s on it and make a bumper for the truck, I’m tempted to go tube style, but that’s a pipeline dream. Problem is, no one usually makes or mods the early 5th gen front bumper unless they do a 5.5 swap, unless I offer up the low pro winch mount and see if anyone wants it and I’ll take their bumper and aluminum crash bar that’s needed too!

Anyone know if the Lexus gx470 wheels will fit on an 05 DC tundra? Same bolt pattern, same size all around. Looks to be a 25 offset but unsure if that will make a huge difference?

Stock is 15mm offset at 17X7.5. Google offset calculator and you can compare the backspace. But it's going narrower a tad between wheels.

@alb1k looks to be 10mm less only, do you think that will be much of an issue?

I doubt it. Do you have more than 1/2 an inch of clearance from your wheel and tire to anything suspension or frame related? But the kinda narrow stock stance is going to get narrower if they fit. Or spacers and you get wider by 1/2 an inch

Damn, you got the hook to line up? Mine's not even close.

Maybe I should buy a few sets and mix and match until I get a good fit, return the rest.

Got everything back together last night and had an injector spewing fuel so had to go back in this AM. Reseated the injector and all is well! New starter sounds amazingly better than the old one and undoubtedly the Tundra is happy for the maintenance. Within 2 blocks my wife even made a comment about how much healthier it seemed to be running.

So DD Injectors may or may not be an amazing upgrade when compared to new OEM but when compared to 200k old ones, couldnt be happier! As reported by everyone else throttle response, shifting, all the things expected were greatly improved. Worth the money and time for sure.

It's about his high clearance bumper. Some sheet metal and the washer reservoir become exposed and the low spot so cutting and putting the tank somewhere else is normal.

I’ve got a joke for you guys. Two guys are replacing a timing belt and half way back through reassembly realize a wiring harness has been pinched/behind the water pump mounting. Actually the joke isn’t very funny.

We're talking washer skid? Or washer relocate tank? I see one for JT but maybe missed a tank for us? And the skid doesn't say FGT either. Linkies? Not that I have a bumper (yet).

Its a wiper fluid relocation for a 2nd gen. I think they come up with dual battery installs. Stand by for link. If you are looking at BFF bumper, I doubt you need it.

Thanks. Looks nice. Not cheap. Bolts clean for us too? Tempting to some degree but if you say BFF won't need it then maybe I won't. Thought I still have zero idea if I am in the BFF front bumper queue or not. Then again, not like I'm going to opt for Coastal so maybe nbd for me on the stock spot? It's nice to fill it near the bumper vs at the back. But might be nice to have it out of harms way. Then again, my compressor is tentatively planned above the abs unit in that general location so maybe best to have fluids somewhere else.

Seems like a mod for a shorter tank might be the best option for us if it's a matter of an inch or two? But who wants to lose an inch? That's a tough sell isn't it?

If you look closely at some of my build pics, you will see the sheet metal supporting the tank after the bumper add. It doesn't have to move, it's just unsightly. That's why I added the lower tube on my bumper. I don't need all of that CO clearance and didn't want to deal with a relocate. BFF bumper is a similar outline to mine now that I added those tubes.

This? I don't really see it I guess, but that's the part people think looks a little exposed?

Yes. You can see it, looks incidental in that shot but I’ve seen pics of other rigs with the same bumper and it’s a sore thumb. And, in the spirit of high clearance, it’s a low spot and unprotected.

Why not just throw the pump on a piece of ABS with a couple end caps and slap it wherever it fits? Thats what most people I know did on their Long travel rigs. Someday ill add my wiper nozzles back on and do it to my Taco as well.

This was my plan for the Tundra when I get to the front bumper next fall.
