When I get around to DD injectors I'll probably replace the starter also "while I'm in there" as it looks like an opportunity. Knock sensor maybe too, eh? I know fail rate is low, but with "unknown" history and what we have all seen from the cooling loop findings.... safe than sorry.

I need to clean the valley up anyway... there is a certain dark, thick liquid pooled up there.

I need to order suspension parts first though, and get that in order. Getting ahead of myself... cart before the horse

I didn’t think of knock sensors. I did make Jason do the starter though. He said the DD injectors sound nice.

I might be one of the idiots that paid $200 to replace all four flaps. :homer:

(Then treated the hell out of the front pair and rear pair & sold at a bargain basement price to two other members)

I haven't tried it but I also saw a detailing trick of using a pink eraser to erase off any white haze, especially car wax, from dark plastics. Good results. That combined with the Griot's trim restore I used on them would probably get them looking like new.

Once the rain/snow stopped I was able to remove the drivers side suspension that’ll be rebuilt. Passenger side and rear shocks are tomorrow.

Slapped the glove box back together mostly. Missing my gloves box lamp while I was "dropping off tools" security guard is pretty chill guy.

Wish I had legit parts because there's only me one operator, and the security guard here tonight.

Only two cameras inside the plant... none facing this way.

Got this installed Saturday AM. 20220305_081746.jpg
Got it off Amazon for about $130. I hate this thing though. It's dead silent which is what I expected but I still hate it. Will probably be modified when we get back. Saw some reviews that it will rust out after 5 years or so but at the price point and the fact I only need it to last through our trip I think it's worth the money.

I've also got an easily replicated popping noise coming from the rear end during slow slightly bumpy driving or if you shake the back end of the truck left to right. If you're pushing on the back of the truck making the truck shake left to right it pops once moving to the left then one more time when it returns to the right and so on. It's been doing it for a little while but I've got to get someone to shake the truck back and forth while I get under there and feel for an issue. Unless anyone has any good suggestions on where to start.

I'm one of those guys. One of my front mudflaps looked like this: 20220205_124045.jpg
So I removed both fronts a long time ago so I was perfectly happy with what was to me a pretty perfect pair of front mudflaps for the right price.
