I would like a window which could retract entirely. Would pair perfectly with the boot and shell. I could see trying to retrofit something with a fixed pane.

Fair point it is indeed a bastard year but I don't have the AIP system either, and at least I can open my rear doors without opening the front first :bananadance:

It's ok to admit you bought the wrong model. :crapstorm:

@jpink did this to both me and @Tundra2. Tried to open the rear doors before the front one was open. :D

Really? Most V6 I see are RC, not AC nor DC. Maybe it's a regional thing.

Damn, I was about to say you don't hafta sign up, they show it to you at their VIN lookup page w/o registering. But it appears they recently locked that down!!!

@Casper421 is scary close to mine, mine was ordered a month later but it looks like his was purchased and/or had its 1st registration one week after mine.

May be regional but there's definitely a lot of base 2WD V6s here I feel like.

If it wouldn’t cause a ton of noise, I’d pull them completely from the vehicle.

28 pin connector housing came in. Harness mostly is done. Just need to get an 8 pin female and male connector set next and it’ll be ready for install in the truck.
Parking brake, speed, reverse, ignition, steering controls, microphone (on a pigtail to connect easier in truck) all in the connector. No need for AUX since the 2020 radio doesn’t support it.

No splices. All 1 wire runs. MUCH cleaner.

All jokes aside, I can totally understand the AC choice, suits needs much better for some people, don’t tell anyone but I bet they do better on the trail…..
But I chose my DC for specific reason too, so far it’s been great and I wouldn’t change my mind

You dc guys with the roll down back windows can keep your dirty headliners. When i got rid of my 5runner i missed having a roll down back window, but my interior stays so much cleaner now.

just set an open bag of flour under someones roll down rear window.

It is a crazy vortex of doom that I have still not mastered. The sulfur recirculate is a great feature of that back window too

Rear two windows only half way down when the back's rolled down.
