That is what I saw too, which is why I posted my picture of the 265s on my truck. Maybe they are 285s though?

The label on the top one says 285 and they all appear to be the same size.
I'll take a closer look at lunch in a minute.

Nice. The pic I posted up above with my LTXs are 285/70R17s. I don't think they look too small.

Nice. I got these a month ago and so far I'm happy with them. Good dry traction, and fine in light rain on the road. Haven't driven in the heavy stuff or mud just yet. Light hum is there in the mid speeds 40-60, but real quiet above or below that!

Excellent news. Thanks for chiming in!!!

The late model Taco bros seem to like them and their trucks are the same size as ours, but with v6s and big monthly payments. Seemed like a pretty safe bet.

Anyone have any insight into the valve stems? I was going to bring my Sprewells in tomorrow to get them mounted up.

Never heard of that. I have E rated tires and regular rubber stems. I think they charged me $2 per wheel for them.

Still rattling. The screws and backer rod didn't get it. But here's a nice looking picture anyways.

I see the dash rattle issue is still alive and well around here, haha. After years fighting it I just shove a pen cap down between the dash and windshield. Tried backer rod (few times) and removing stereo and doing what I can through the opening. Every time I declare success but over time it comes back...

    Nice truck!

You’ve got TPMS yea? Just uh.. run those
The TPMS stems can handle the higher pressure vs the rubber stems

Technically, yes. My truck came with TPMS. It's disabled tho and and I have little desire to reenable it.
My plan is to leave the TPMS stems in the stock wheels and have them in the basement. Then, should I ever sell the truck, I can sell it with the stock wheels and keep the Sprewells.

pretty sure those higher load rated tires have a higher max psi. If your not gonna run 55-80psi in them, regular valve stems will do. Ultimately though, if you end up needing to or selling them, it would be nice to have the appropriate spec.

This is one aspect I wish we could easily swap. I would really like to have TPMS via my scangauge. I probably spend too much time with the nanny.

The Coopers are E load range and the max inflation pressure is 80psi.
I've ordered some high pressure snap-in stems. I'll have them in an hour or so. Same cost as the full rubber guys on our shelf.

Current mods: AFE Cold air intake, AFE TB Spacer,JBA Long tube headers, DD full cat back race exhaust, pedal commander pedal controller, URD MAF Calibrator tuned by Mike @ Autowave, DD 12 hole 320CC injectors, R9K ECU reflash,Solid Off road mounts. Future upgrades: 4.8 gears and LSD, ,long travel kit.
Day 3 with new reflashed ECU. Feels more responsive and mid range definitely feels improved on highway runs. MPGs thankfully stayed the same. I still wanna buy another spare ECU and send in to DAP for his tune to compare both. Scheduling a dyno run for next week.

And now I've ordered a set of 1" wheel spacers. I'm worried they won't stick out far enough to properly fill the arches.

All my math is based on pictures and specs of my fave 1GT. We'll see how my math checks out this week.

Hard to say, but my not-so-calibrated pinch-micrometer says at least 10mm, if not 13.
I can google and see if there's a spec on Cooper's website.

What size lift are you running in the front and rear? Did you have to upgrade your upper control arms and sway bar links?

I am running this OME lift/level kit. I replaced both my UCAs and LCAs in the process. The replacement LCAs are OEM and I went with the SPC UCAs. I have a Torch off-road add-a-leaf in the back (as well as their pinion angle shim). I didn't replace the rear leaf springs, just added the extra leaf. I got about a 1.5-2" lift out of the back after adding the camper shell and bumper. I got about 2.5" of lift out of the front with the 2885 springs. I also replaced the outer tie rods, LBJs and got the suspension maxx extended links (also from 1st gen off-road). It's sitting pretty level now that it has settled.

I'm running 285/70R17s now. In retrospect, if I did it again, I likely would have gone with the 2884 springs to have the front sit down a hair more. But I like the stance, wheel size etc. I'm running 1.25" spacers with +15 4Runner rims with no rubbing now that I removed the mud guards.
