FWIW, those connectors appear to be weatherpack. I have some males if needed.

Got my new deflecting beam torque wrench today and re-torqued the Torch u-bolts to 110 and my lugs to 83. Also verified the rear shock bolts. The deflecting beam is pretty cool.

Measured the height post-cap. On the driver's side I'm sitting pretty level -- right around 23" in the front and 23.25" in the back. The passenger side rear, however is 22.5". Front passenger is right over 23". I've got about a .75" difference in the axle perch to the frame from side to side.

I'm getting it re-aligned Tuesday, where I hope they can move the caster forward as much as possible per your recommendations to address the space in front.

The side the side variation perplexes me, however.

I ordered the replacement parts for the shell. 17" 40 lbs gas struts and the techflex for the wires. Also going to run a wire back to the fuse box in the front so I can have continuous power for the dome light. I need to figure out which size dome light is in there so I can get a matching LED. I suspect it is a 41mm or so.

I also have to fix the dome light pressure switch.

Finally, I grabbed some mini projectors for my current empty headlights, because I don't know when my retrofits are going to be done and it's getting dark here way too early to not have headlights.

I need to pull my fogs lights out tomorrow and put Loctite on the bolts and do some other stuff this weekend. All the rest of the parts come Sunday so I should be good to go before the weekend is over (until the next thing to work on!).

If anyone has any ideas or anything to check on the side-to-side level or axle, let me know. I'm open to ideas. Or maybe I am stressing out about it too much.

    Torque wrench.

    I did this today:

    20211126_153830.jpg

    Then I found this:

    20211126_153940.jpg

    20211126_154113.jpg

    So then I bought this:

    20211126_162850.jpg

And I did this with them:

    20211126_163811.jpg

Guess what? Ironman idles like normal again! No more lunging, no more big block idle, no more codes. So I didn't get to do my axles this weekend like I wanted, but I do have a driveable truck again. I'm just glad it didn't suck a piece of that gasket in. For anybody wondering, those are the ITM gaskets on rock auto. I put them in about 3 years ago, about 3000 miles I believe. It's on my VC thread when I did it. I'd recommend AGAINST buying them for this reason. Anyways, here's a booty shot of the intake manifold for you pervs.

I need to take the time to clean those areas up for sure, I may take you up on your offer!

The KO2's are actually really quiet for what they are, most folks running these will agree. But they are a mother to balance. Took me three trips to my local tire shop to get them right (3rd time they finally did the road force balance).

How’s the reception? I’ve never had a tiny antenna that was worth a damn

Well then, you haven't tried "The Original" 6-3/4" Antenna! Here's a link to where I got mine https://www.ebay.com/itm/332601919442? . Actually, I would say it is about 95% as good as stock. One station, from a town an hour away, had a little static in my garage, which cleared up after I backed out. The stocker didn't have this static in the garage, but did have some issues in different parts of town -- more testing needed. All the local stations were great.

They're getting harder to find for sure. I had to have a touch screen with CD/DVD player so I can watch movies when I'm stuck in the truck at work or to lul me to sleepy time while camping

I went with a mechless HU only because I have already converted my CDs/DVDs to digital media that I can store on a micro SD card. I am able to play on my HU using a android app that plays all digital media.

    1. You will need a android HU with a SD card reader.
    2. That HU must be able to download a app called MX Player or similar from Google Play.
    3. You will need a computer with a CD/DVD that you can use to convert to digital media using software such as DVDFab or similar.
    4. If your computer does not have a SD card reader/writer you can buy a USB card reader on Amazon.

Well, that explains the hissing in the intake area. Guess that should've been a no-brainer to explain vacuum-leak-like condition where hissing is coming from the intake.

Glad you figured it out. Even gladder you fixed it.

I have a 10 year old alpine on eBay which does dvd and includes the phone module. Free to anyone here if you want it. Some gorilla glue which might be possible to remove.

I listen to the radio when I don’t have kids in the car. I’ve started doing country radio actually. And I don’t even like country. Wtf right?

I got a metal ruler this morning to re-measure the after-lifted height again a bit more accurately. I think I'm overthinking this. But more accurately measuring the height now I get (full tank of gas, more or less):

    Front L: 22"
    Front R: 22.5"
    Rear L: 22.75"
    Rear R: 22.5"

So I'm about a .75" rake on the left side and nearly level on the right. I'm only .25" different in the rear L/R, which is likely OK.

You are over thinking it - but, FL up 1/2" or so likely gets everything within 1/4 with gas and before you sit in it, maybe after. Or a tad town FR.

Edit: I focus on the front. unless the rear is visibly canted. More travel in the rear and generally less weight, front is more critical IMO

99% of "county" radio stations play a warped sort of Pop they call country. That might explain it. Especially in San Diego. Even KSON gave in a long time ago, aint the station my grandparents listened too anymore thats for sure.

For sure. Every now and then it’s got a little bit of country but mostly pop.
