Yeah I've noticed that. I did some stuff that easily could have rattled, but it's so soft it does doesn't make a noise. I saw that weird fabric stuff on my wife's old bmw and searched for it for about 30 minutes. I had to try this foreign stuff. Yep, I love it.

If this is the cloth tape stuff, that's typically what I reach for with bare wires, and electrical tape for split loom. I don't think mine is made by Tesa, it's whatever we keep stocked on the solder station at work. It's a high-heat cloth tape.

Yeah I just can stand the sticky mess electrical tape makes. Tesa gets sticky after a while and is a mess, but it doesn't seem as sudden or as bad.

Got my Dirty Deeds 16x5 muffler welded in. Quick video. This is the moderate version with a 16x5" muffler and the resonator.

Sounds killer. Is that a chambered muffler? I've been thinking of trading my magnaflow knockoff for a chambered to get a meaner and less land yacht kind a sound.

Thank you. Yea, I really like those wheels and tires. I'm basically rebuilding the entire front end next week so pretty excited about that. Adding some Spidertrax spacer to kick out the wheels a bit more into the flare. I think the exhaust sounds pretty good too. I don't have anything to compare it too, however.

This is the kit I purchased. It uses the OEM tailpipe. The OEM resonator and muffler are deleted and the new muffler and Helmholtz resonator are added to the system. I had my local exhaust shop weld it in. The resonator kills the drone. I went with the 16"x5" "moderate" option. I'm glad I didn't go with the 12" aggressive. Not sure if I had to do it again, I would step down in sound to the 20". Again, it's tough to know.

Here is a video from the cab. More aggressive on the throttle than I normally would drive, but not launching it :). It's a really tuned, pleasant sound IMHO. It does mask my fan clutch jet take-off noise, which had always kind of annoyed me. Not sure if anyone else's truck does that.

Impressive, that’s what I was worried about, that it would take 4 months to get here regardless what year it is

@FrenchToasty for reals, I thought the same. I said okay maybe 1-2 months. I've had packages sent to me in Australia on a ship and took about 2 months to get there but snail mail was the worst in the Navy lol.

Sorry if I missed it, but you already have an AGM battery?

This may be one of the next easy-bolt-up things I do, I've just been mulling over whether I want to do it so soon after replacing the batt.
