I did spy some bolt holes and heaps of space. Seems doable. Maybe a totally different bracket I suppose? It’s a great spot for a compressor

I’m not sure the complete body differences. But I think our overall engine bay height is shorter. Which would mean anything he installs there likely will contact out hoods

Woop, extremely excited for it! I like that the power steering reservoir will be accessible still, not that I go in there too often.

I got most of the way through my transfer case seal job today but of course I ran into trouble. I can't get the lock nut on the companion flange to break loose, even with an electric impact. I think I'm going to have to make some sort of tool to keep the companion flange steady instead of using breaker bars, then hit it again with the electric impact. The tight spaces thanks to the crossmember and cat aren't doing me any favors that's for sure.

I also installed my Inno rack, no pictures yet.

Yeah I tried to make everything accessible.

im sure you have, but did you get the detent out of the lock nut. I remember doing my carrier bearing and it wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be.

Yeah, I punched the detent out. I thought I was going to have a hard time separating the driveshaft from the companion flange but separated easy with a few tappy tappys.

Won't copper cause steel (your frame) to corrode? Be a shame if so.

i was going to throw some heat shrink where it touches only for noise reduction.
I couldn’t imagine it rusting more than constant water dripping onto metal. Not to rub it in, but we don’t rust here

This makes me more worried about the group 31 battery. Tons of room on the side but not sure about hood clearance.

    Galvanic Reaction.

Galvanic Reaction: Incompatible Metals Responsible for Corrosion - Monarch Metal
Most commonly, galvanic corrosion can be seen in plumbing systems where a copper pipe is directly connected to a steel or iron pipe. Once in contact both metals can undergo galvanic corrosion because of the electric or galvanic current that takes place at the anode and cathode of the pair of metals.

From my experience copper gets the damage from that. I've seen many a pinhole and yards of green pipe from landscapers using galvy nipples to add sprinklers on copper water systems. Never seen the galvy damaged from it. His frame should be painted and if he shields the copper it should be fine.

Perhaps they changed it since @empty_lord mentioned it a few times. If so, that would be great.

Leveled the front of my 2wd with a 1/2" and 1/4" spacer and gave it a fresh alignment.

Yes but the radiators in our truck still help I guess. There are trans lines that run into the bottom of the radiator.

It runs through the radiator as a warmer before it goes to the cooler behind the grille.

That's how the lines are on the RC anyways. I plan to bypass all that like I did on the V6.

The trans line in radiators isnt really a cooler. A little, but its meant to get trans fluid up to temp.
