Washed and waxed the old girl this morning. 20 years in the SoCal sun and the paint and clear coat are still intact, as is the interior fabric. Good job Toyota.

Put the new tire on and placed the space back in its spot. Still have a check engine light and read the code to find out I have a cylinder 6 misfire. Which one is that?

Yeah I had just spliced into the radios constant hot with a 16 gauge, relying on it fuse. Barney hack-job compared to what you’re talkin about. I like it.
Very helpful insight that I will be using for sure. Thank you.

V1.2 is a go, but version 2.0 will be 1” closer to the radiator.
It passed the hood close test, but it didn’t pass the push down in that corner of the hood test; when I moved the compressor 1” lower and repeated, no contact.
So for now I can still hit 6/8 mounting points on the comp mount.
Haha I thought I took pics but I guess I was in the zone!

Whelp, this one is no good! Only got about 16K miles and 3 years of use. I’m not sure how I ended up with this model number (NGK BKR6EIX-11) cause the chilton manual shows far from that.
Had only 2 plugs within spec. The rest were .050-.080. Truck idles smoother now lol. No CEL either.

Put 300 towing miles on her after work today. I found a toy to bring home. 60k miles, brand new looking interior, and only $500. Paint was mint too until it sat in the desert sun for the last 5 years.

Took a screenshot while driving. The old gal did good.

@Thrussn That's a great find. It's hard to tell from here if that's is clearcoat peel or just oxidation. You might be able to bring that paint back with some buffing.

I didn’t even think about it initially. Then when I looked for the spark plug spec it was right there…I am ashamed.

Hell yeah. If you're too lazy to look it up, you get what you get! But I just so happened to know the numbering already. I just needed the picture to avoid writing. Pic is worth 1k words.

New Tires, Stereo & Speakers,Uni-Strut Tie Down Continue watching THIS SPACE FOR FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS
Hello all, well I just finished adding adjustable tie down points to my 2003 AC. I picked up 2 - 5' pieces of solid 12 Ga. Uni Strut to the bed. I went with 1/2 - 13 seamless eye bolts. Rated 2200 lbs. there are 4 per side. All fully adjustable. I realized the first time I loaded up the bed, the existing securing points were inadequate, so now we are set.

Isn’t it also on the underside of the hood? I can’t recall offhand. A lot of manufacturers also put it on the block somewhere.

Well thankfully the truck made it back from my vacation and the trails in one piece. Popped a tire and gashed another's sidewalk on the rocks. Bit Discount tire is replacing em for the price of mount and balance because I bought the certs. Best $30 per tire investment ever. Definitely going to need an alignment too.

PM me of you want to see pics and videos on my IG.
